Blue is my favourite colour..... Lexies journey

I know I said I wasn't going to worry about the scales but a leaflet at work yesterday said weighing in daily can be a good thing to focus you so I am still doing it.... Anyway I'm 1kg down from Saturday which I know doesn't mean I'm 11 something but its going in the right direction. I don't ache as much this morning from the shred as I have done the other days so maybe my body is starting to get used to it, here's hoping ;)

I read the same info about weighing in daily ..

Hope your body is getting used to it ! and not waiting to sneak up and hobble you ;)

I actually meant a leaflet at the gym not work!!! Well I do it & am not gonna stop now although I'm more interested in shape now.....

I can't decide about weighing in daily. I think sometimes it messes with my head a bit. Doesn't stop me doing it though!!

My personal opinion, from past experience, is that it does more harm than good, lol. But if you're able to weigh every day without getting either obsessive or demotivated by the inevitable, and quite natural, daily fluctuations, then by all means do it. :) I myself have slipped into the habit of weighing weekly, despite my best intentions to do it monthly still, so I'll have to keep a careful eye on myself! :D xx

Well scales this morning 76.9kg so coming down nicely but I am working really hard, lots of exercise coupled with 1300 cal days is clearly my route to goal. Last night did 50 minute Zumba, 15 min walk home straight in to the shred & although I wanted to cry I didn't quite....

Do you think it's daft to take my scales in holiday so I can keep an eye, we're taking the shred DVD already

If your taking the DVD and the car, aren't they kept in the car boot? I would say yes ;)

I dunno I'm thinking the scales are a step to far after all it is a holiday and life goes beyond weight loss!

I get why you want to but sometimes it's nice to be "normal" for a few days it also takes away the mental worry for a week.

But you do whatever you think is beat xx

I dont have a set of scales lol I was just going to wait for the docs weigh in :) Then me and my mum nipped into Asda home and they have Salters scales down to a tenner and I was sooo tempted :sigh: I am scared if I get them I will be weighing myself every day

Shredded again last night & used heavier weights & I can feel it this morning, it hurts across my back & shoulders.

Weight this morning. 76.7 so down 0.2kg from yesterday so it's all headed in the right direction again

For fear of sabotage I'll have my 11 back if I convert in less than 1lb but I'm quite liking the kg thing as makes my target of 70kg/11 stone seem nearer

Shred & Zumba done!

Am on a mission to try & get to goal by end of July. My sister has just invited us to my nieces 18th which may not sound big but we fell out 5 years ago & this is a massive olive branch & I'm determined to look my very best so here goes!
