I only came on to let you know I'd made the soup and it was yummy

Hey Boo I hope your neck is okay? Have you got one of those microwave heat things? I swear by them when that happens. You know the long wheat things? If not well worth getting.

Mr Boo - thats awful. Does he have a contract of employment? Is their a sickness clause in it? Not convinced they can do this so do pursue it. Ok won't give him his job back but might help out financially don't just take it, look into it sweetie.

He can be your full time cook I do hope hes feeling alot better?

I've heard of those wheat thingys, at the minute I've got a heat patch on and a lovely neck cushion, you know I don't do things by half lol.

Will definately look into his job Jackie, Mr Boo is classed as disabled because of his epilepsy which flared up again last year, mostly due to the pressure of work. Sadly he is one of a few who's seizures are poorly controlled even with quite a lot of meds, but to be honest, I much prefer him at home at least I don't have to worry about him.

And as for being the cook, he's a really good one and I'm lucky to have him

Day 47 - Sunday 3 July 2011

Morning everyone

Its Sunday and the sun is shining, what a lovely day

I'm sitting on the couch at the minute with Dale curled up next to me waiting for Mr Boo to wake up. We've got kippers for breakfast my fav and scrambled egg lovely

My neck is still the same although I'm trying not to think about it too much but its hard when its affecting every move I make poor moo I'll have to try and keep moving it so it doesn't seize up completely.

Think I'm having a red day today but not sure, think we've got fish for dinner tonight so might just have veg with it.

So sorry your neck is still so sore sweetie (hugs) don't suffer with it, if its still like it tomorrow, do you have a local oesteopath? I can't recommend them enough and they can work wonders. I suffer due to poor posture working at home at pc, and one 30 min appt and I'm usually back to normal very very quickly, its seriously worth the pennies and not suffering

Hiya Lou, yes they do smell the house out lol but all the windows, back door is open and its ok now. They were lovely although don't think I'll be having them in the winder lol.

Thanks Jackie, yes I've been to an osteopath as had a car accident nearly about 3 1/2 years ago and had whip lash, neck hasn't been the same since :cry:never mind I will look into going again.

Lol thats true ginlin the windows are well and truely open lol. Yep my neck was ok at 3 am saturday morning when I got up to go to the loo, it wasn't at 6.30 when I woke up in agony! never mind its a weak spot I have. Hope your having a lovely day Boo xx

Its a lovely sunny afternoon here at the Boo residence. Mr Boo has started making a model (its his hobbie), this one is the invisible man, I asked how he could see the pieces hehehe, sorry that was an awful joke lol

Lunch is going to be cheese and crackers with a side salad and some silverskin onions yummy!

Kippers and scrambled egg sounds lovely! My fave is smoked salmon with scrambled egg but I might have to get in some kippers. Lunch sounds good too - I love pickled onions!

Day 48 - Monday 4 July 2011

Hi everyone, this is just a running visit as Mr Boo has his hospital appointment this morning, its a bit of a pain because its in central London and the underground is going to be hot and packed, lovely, not! lol

Its promising to be a hot day, so if its still nice when we come out of the hospital were going to get some lunch - maybe a steak and salad or some sort of salad, it'll be nice as we don't get out much, sad I know.

This mornings breakfast consisted of oats so simple (b) and semi skimmed milk (a) with a chopped banana thrown in, not sure if we're going to have a red day today or ee, will see how it pans out. Weigh-in day tomorrow so hoping to have lost a bit more.

I suprised myself once by walking from fleet street up to Euston, was going to take tube but had plently of time before train and it was a really nice walk, think it took an hour though so maybe not practical for you and Mr Boo.

Also - good luck with WI tomorrow, I'm really desperate for a good loss this week, hope we both get one xxx

Hi Boo I hope the neck is better today and the hospital appointment goes okay. You can take paracetamol and ibuprofen together if the ibuprofen is not doing a good job on its own.

Hiya Lou, wow that was a long walk, although sometimes there's nothing better to clear your head, the tube wasn't too bad as we missed the rush hour although the central line is always horrible.

Thanks Clareel, I've just bought some voltarol (sp?) and they are working really well, thanks for the tip tho. London was hot and sweaty, we was good and stopped off for a salad and a diet coke (my, I must be getting good, usually it would have been a glass or two of wine!). Hiya Jackie, neck is feeling a little better now I've taken some different tablets, thanks. We saw his professor today whos trying him a different sort of epilepsy drug he's already taking 3 sorts but he's fazing one of them out and replacing with the new tablet. This has been done a few times - its difficult but hey we'll get there.

We had a nice steak salad for lunch, I didn't eat my jacket potatoe but Mr Boo did so he's on ee and I'm still on red.

Its hot and muggy here too, I hate how this weather makes me feel , never mind, this time next year we'll all be skinny minnies! Hope your day is going well Boo xx

Thanks ginlin, they've changed one of his meds over so fingers crossed they will help, its a case of trying and see how it goes, ideally it would be lovely for them to be under control abite Mr Boo having to be on the meds for the rest of his life. Hope your having a lovely day Boo xx

Its been a lovely afternoon, after we got off of the underground, I walked with Mr Boo to get some fruit and some veg, then we popped into the barbers and he got his hair cut. We was going to walk home but a bus came along and so we thought 'why not?' so we did lol

Tonight we have got a mixed veg omellette which I'm really looking forward to and I've got all my syns left to use whey hey!

I've just put a fresh bowl of water in the garden for the dogs and Dale and bloomin run away with it, what is he like?! Wouldn't swap them for the world.

Fingers crossed for Cass tonight as its her weigh-in, good luck Cass!
