Bop's Road to Holiday!

Wow, what an unusual meal idea! Have never heard of anything like this before, but I like the sound of it  Think I may have to give this a try but with a slight tweak: Jacket Potato topped with Chicken MugShot, HExA of cheese and served with Salad. Completely free that way! :)

Your pasta bake also looks very yummy! I'll definitely be popping back to see which other recipes I can pinch :p

Have a great week xxxx

It was so tasty and filling, we didn't realise we had bought supernoodles which were 10 syns a packet! So we just halved the pack and spent the rest of the day being angelic food wise!!! Haha, the mug shot idea is fab though to make it free!

Glad you'll be popping back to see. I like to cook so there will be lots of recipes that i'm trying out over the next few weeks.

Hope you have a lovely week too :) xxxxx

yay that's brilliant hun, well done on the loss, espescially as you've only been really going for it since tuesday :D bet next week's loss is even better

if your food keeps looking even half as good as the tuna pasta bake pic did I'm probably going to be on at you to nab recipes  lol

hello :) Just read through your diary and well done on the weight you've lost! Very inspiring :)
Your food is making me hungry though, everything sounds amazing. x x x

Ah thank you so much for that :D It means a lot!
I will be putting recipes and pictures up daily so if you see anything you like just ask for recipes or syn values if I haven't popped them on?

Do you have a diary on here at all?
Katie xx

The low fat batchelors supernoodles are syn free if you want a noodly fix - not quite as nice as the proper ones as the noodles are slightly thinner and the flavour not so strong but better than having 10 syns! Sainsburys own brand ones are quite low in syns too and nice (I have the vegetable ones which I think are 3 syns from memory).

You've done really well to lose so much already, keep it up :) I'm off on a cruise in September for 17 nights and I'm hoping I can get a bit of weight off before then too as the amount of food around on those damn things is unreal! Afternoon tea with cakes every day, free room service, buffets, full english and pastries for breakfast....food food food. Lush but lethal to a dieter :)

I do love noodles so will keep my eye out for those :D Thank you, proper are nice but definitely not worth 10 syns!!!

Thank you so much :D Cruise sounds amazing, where are you headed on it? 17 nights will be amazing! Never been on one so I can't say what the food would be like but it sounds heavenly (not to a dieter though :p ) xxx

Day 3 - Thursday 5/1/2012 - EE day

Breakfast - Hi-Fi chocolate and caramel (3 syns)

Lunch - 28g bitesize shredded wheat (HEXB) with a banana, milk from my HEXA and cinnamon sprinkled over.

Dinner - Butternut Squash and Bacon risotto. (Tasty but wouldn't make on a regular basis) Added peas and sweetcorn to it at the last minute.

This was followed by pineapple, apple, banana and orange topped with a muller light.

Snacks for the day were an apple and 2x homemade ferrero rochers (1.5 syns) These were absolutely delish and would definitely make them again, really give you your chocolate fix!!
Few cups of tea with milk from my HEXA

Syns for the day - 4.5
1x HEXA
1x HEXB

hello, hope you dont mind me popping in - spotted you in someone elses diary.

just wanted to say you look fabulous in your photos already even though you're not at target yet.

P.S, i love risotto and yours sound lovely - there was a butternut squash and sage one i think in a recent SW mag, but this sounds better as my OH poo-poos anything with no meat in it! :p xxx

Love the recipe photos! Have subscribed for more yummy goodies XD

Your ferrero rocher seemed to turn out a lot better than mine... I made the scan bran variety last night and they ended up nothing more than sludge really... Must try the ryvita version :)

xx

Hello and thank you for popping in :D Always nice to meet new people!

Thank you so much for the kind words, still a long way to target yet but I feel better already :D

The risotto was nice, I wouldn't put as much garlic in next time, and would add some herbs, but the combination of BNS and bacon worked really well!

Do you have a diary? I love reading them for inspiration!
