Hope the hospital goes OK tomorrow. Don;t worry about work for ages yet. You'll have to recuperate and then when you are fit enough they should start you back gently on a step-up program to gradually get you back up to full days.

I know it gonna take time,
I feel a bit upset tonight coz wen we moved my stuff was boxed up and my friend took it to her house, I've picked it up tonight and even my cups in it , could that not of gone to the new unit and gone in the staff room ,

My average day is 7.45 - 5.45,
On Tuesdays I start early so I get up at 4.45 to get to work at 6ish, and still work till 5.45 ,
I'm feeling very down about it all now after sorting through the boxes from work ,
It just shows we don't mean anything to them

Aww on no Von, sorry your feeling this way hun. I must say that is a bit insensitive of whoever did it. But at the same time, maybe its just one individual that made that decision and packed them, not a reflection on what the others feel and think about you, they probably don't even know about it hun. You've worked there 29 years, there's no way anyone can forget that kind of contribution. You are such a lovely warm and generous person, I'm sure a lot of them miss you dearly like I do when you're not here

Your right , but wiv feeling low it doesn't feel nice,
I started working for them at 16, worked at one branch for 15 years then was asked to be manager of the Blackpool branch and I've been there ever since ,

Well my situation is a bit like yours but I had to resign because of my op last year, but before that I have always worked as a Store Manager in London for women's high street fashion brands such Topshop, H&M, New Look
. I have another follow up appointment at the hospital coming up soon, they will discuss if I need another small op which might be end of April, I'm hoping, if that op goes well then I will need 4-6 weeks recovery period, so I think its more likely that I will be returning back to work the 2nd half of the year. I'm scared too like you of my operation, I don't like them, the only thing that helps my nerves is my surgeon is really good, he's a senior doctor at my local hospital, and has operated on me before, so I feel I'm in safe hands .Kay xx

Just back from the hosp seen consultant , he sent me for x rays he wanted to see what these bone cysts and the degeneration of the bone looked like on x ray as oppose to the MRI,
Had 4 x rays done at different angles he said they are concerned about the cysts in the bone etc, they are doing surgery to repair the cartilidge tears but he is unsure how much my mobility and pain will improve because of the state of the bone,

Ahhh Von, try not to worry too much, doctors tend to be cautious about promising anything. Hopefully the op will improve everything
