Oh god don't get me started on staff who are at college , the majority of them don't want to be there , don't turn in or if they do just want to do a little as possible, winding all the other staff up that are carrying them ,

I've had to hav them in the office to give them a talking to,
If it's a disaplinery the area manager does that but I have to sit in , yea it's happened a couple if times , not the best part of the job ,

Yes many, don't like that part of the job either, had to do 2 firings too for gross misconduct, internal theft basically and they were good workers, you'd never think . It's sad when that happens.

Yea we had issues with things going missing , empty packets etc being found , we didn't get to the bottom of it but let's just say someone handed notice in , and nothing else was found, but your right it's awful you spend so much time together it hurts wen someone dies it to the team,
I'm to trusting as well , I try to see the best in ppl and it backfires , I remember one incident I had to tell a girl she couldn't wear a certain hair accessory it wasn't part if the uniform , any way months later she asked for time off short notice and I couldn't cover her, she said I'd picked on her about the hair incident months before , I had to have an investigation meeting to get the facts, least to say she wasn't believed, but there was a photo in the staff room of a night out , I noticed a week later my eyes had been scratched out , might sound stupid but it really upset me ,

Oh no that's a horrible thing to do. I'm like that too, I can get emotional at times. Its hard for us to juggle as managers because the staff want you to listen to them and the company wants you to listen to them and the manager ends up getting the brunt of it from both ends ! grrrr :sigh:

That's all I've ever done, this is my only job I started wiv the company at 16, at the branch in my town , was there 15 years , then they approached me if I would consider being manager at Blackpool , been their now 14 years,Omg I think the same, but all my experience is in retail
So to go anywhere else is really scary ,

Think I'm going to hit the pillow now Von, TOTM cramps have started, in bed with my water bottle and bed socks trying to keep warm lol. Catch up with you in the morning, I will have lots of updating to do, 3 new results tomorrow on the challenge
