Well I'm awake now , body clock turned on it's head I think,
The painkillers will no doubt make me sleepy eventually , I also took 2 tramadol so hopefully will get back to sleep , just having another cuppa,
I've talked to my sis this afternoon about getting back on plan , she agrees with Kay that I should let my body repair itself this week , to get over the anaesthetic and also to make sure my stomach isn't empty with all the painkillers I'm taking ATM,
That doesn't mean I'm going to stuff myself (although I've been doing a good job so far )
Well no on the scale of things I haven't but compared to what I was eating pre op I am def eating more, but it seems to be bread /toast I'm eating ,
The scales showed up yesterday and I was quite devastated by it , I wasn't even going to post the result but burying my head in the sand won't make it disappear,
It showed a gain of 10lb,
Really in 5 days by eating the equivalent of prob 1/2 a loaf of bread , I thought you had to eat in excess of a certain number of cals to gain 1lb,
So Kay and my sis calmed me down making me realise that the swelling round my knee and the bruising will have a lot to do with it , and my body will be holding a lot of fluid, as well as all the meds I'm taking,
I haven't been drinking my 3L water , I'm not even getting a litre ATM,
And to add to everything else totm is due, my boobs feel like there going to explode they are so sore, so all in all I'm just a bag of water,
So my plan for tomorrow or should I say today is to eat health , chan has bought me lots of fruit he went to the market and got me apples, oranges , bananas, strawberries, peaches and nectarines , on a plus side were almost out of bread maybe just enough for us both to have toast for brekkie then that finished, he doesn't really eat a lot of bread so I've said not to buy another loaf , he's made me a chopped salad , that's in a container in the fridge, there's some turkey left , sis cooked it and I brought it back with me should be ok still, and there's frozen veg that I can make a soup with,
So it's healthy stuff and I can get myself back on plan I will aim to eat small meals at regular intervals,
Chans back at work tomorrow , so he's stressing over leaving me, but I've reassured him il be fine ,
This is a long post , can tell I'm not sleepy wish there was someone else awake lol
