Breastfeeding::Doing it at home : In Switzerland

Easter was hectic lost all sight off SW.

So I have been off plan since Monday and will start back up again on Monday.

I didn't weigh in either this week, come Monday I will jump on the scales accept my gain and get back on SW.

I love holidays but it truly makes it so hard to stay on plan especially when visiting family and friends.

We returned to Switzerland yesterday evening so just getting back to normal....always glad to be back in your own home.

Ill be back on it 100% on Monday and even hubby is back on his juice Diet on Monday too

WEIGH IN

+ 3.5lbs.... I am not disappointed as I know the crazy stuff I was stuffing myself with it could have been worse.

I found that while in the UK i didn't eat badly I just wasn't in control of food as we were always visiting people and getting feed by them. When we got back I ate soooo badly out of boredom and just cos I could and it was there. Clearly I haven't reached the point of having a healthy lifestyle without SW.

Anyway I am back now, we are planning a short trip probably end of June to Zimbabwe thats where hubby is from. Thats will be in about 6 weeks so that time i would love to loss 10lbs an average of 1.7lbs a week. That will have me well into the 11s.
 
WEEK 1 : Mon in the 6 week countdown to holiday

Malita is now having some solids so reducing my HEs

Breakfast: 35g Oats(HEB), 250ml SS Milk(HEA), Banana

Lunch: 70g Pasta, Roast Beef Slices, 100g Cottage Cheese(1SYN)

Snack:
Special K Chewy Delight(HEB), Jumbo Caramel Snack a Jack(2.5SYNS)

Dinner: Roast Chicken, Couscous, Veg. peppers, peas, sweetpotato, onion, Olive Oil (2SYNS), Honey(2SYNS), Nandos Sauce(3SYNS)

Snack:
125ml SS MIlk(0.5 x HEA), 1 x Penguin (5.5SYNS)

TOTAL: 1.5 x HEA, 2 x HEB, 16 x SYNS

Hi glad weigh in wasn't to bad, Zimbabwe sounds an amazing place to visit. A 10lb loss should be more than achievable in 6 weeks x

Despite the bad media it a beautiful place...expensive though.

However my hubbys Aunt is turning 90 she played a big part in raising him, so we would like to be there. Also she can meet Malita.

I believe its achievable....just got to stick to plan.
 
WEEK 1 : Tues in the 6 week countdown to holiday

Malita is still got a cold which is agitating her and she is finding it difficult to sleep, but shes still a happy baby.

She is doing well with her sitting but she requires cushions around her...master rolling to the right from belly to back...

Today my Belarussian friend is coming over for lunch, being in this country has introduced me to a variety of friends from all the world...love it. She is expecting any day now...so excited for her.

Breakfast: 35g Oats(HEB), 250ml SS Milk(HEA), Banana, WW Yogurt

Lunch: My friend is over I've prepared lunch for her

Rice, Pork, Red Lentils & Sweet potato curry, Olive Oil& Coconut Milk(6SYNS per serving)

We then had a coffee with a sweet/meringue but soft with apple flavour its from Belarus and I couldn't say no to her so had, it guessing its (10SYNS)

Dinner: Left over from lunch (6SYNS)

So many SYNY used going to be good the rest of the week to try not use them all to make up for the large intake today.


TOTAL: 1 x HEA, 1 x HEB, 22 x SYNS

Malita sounds like she is doing really well with sitting and rolling. Sebby is with the child minder tomorrow so I can spend some time just with Neve and let her have some play time on the floor. She is also liking to sit but needs support, Sebby was always on the go so not used to it. Your food sounds lovely today x

It was yummy...

She is is pretty keen. This evening she rolled onto her other side as she was favouring one side more . So she is now doing tummy to back and back to tummy and she is rather pleased about it too.. its really funny.lol...lol

When you have your floor time with her she will be thrilled...I find i spend most of my day being a baby too...lol..Laying next to her...throwing toys around the place...Love It!

that is really good Neve def needs more floor time. I spend most of my days on the floor playing trains with Sebby in the Hols and supporting Neve while she plays with a toy with the other hand - the things we do x
 
Weeks 1 : Weds

Soooo Malita has decided to not sleep at 6pm anymore now seems to go to bed at 10pm...she wakes at 7am i bring her to my bed for a feed and I get an hour snooze. Leave her in bed and she carries on sleeping till 10.30am. I get to have my cuppa and brekkie in silence....guess thats the benefit of her new routine.

Breakfast: 35g Oast(HEB), 250ml SS Milk(HEA), Banana, WW Yogurt

Lunch:
70g Penne Pasta, 100g Cottage Cheese(1SYN), Roast Beef slices

The weather today was AMAZING, meet up with a friend and had a
Diet Coke

Was cooking dinner I had the munchies and just couldn't resist 3 x Digestives(10.5 SYNS), Kellogs Chewy Delight(HEB)

Dinner:
Green Beans, Roast Potatoes, Fish, Olive Oil to marinate fish (2SYNS)

Snacks: Penguin (5.5 SYNS)

TOTAL: 1 x HEA, 2 x HEB, 19 SYNS

No been such a good day i guess...what one considers small snack sure do tip the scales...really need to get my at together in the next 4 days to get a loss on WI, On saturday got a birthday party to attend so really need to save my syns up.

Week 1 : Thurs

Malita had a better night only 2 wakes so I putting it down to her having the cold...now to just get her going to bed a lil earlier that 10pm would be nice.


Breakfast: 30g Oats with cardamom and nutmeg (HEB), 250ml SS Milk(HEA), Raspberries

Lunch: 2 x Fried Egg in fry light, Baked Beans, 28g Cheddar Cheese(HEA),Wholemeal Bread(5SYNS)

I am back on plan but somehow not my 100%, or just being social is proving a challenge to me


A friend of mine came over with her boys as it spring break.
We had some tea, 2 x Digestive biscuits(7SYNS) a handful of crisps (5SYNS)

Dinner: Spaghetti Bol & Green beans, Cheddar cheese(10SYNS)

TOTAL: 2 x HEA, 1 x HEB, 27SYNS
Why am I falling off the wagon? There is plenty of fruit why don't i just reach for that..??

Now to keep out of the kitchen...

Malita doesn't seem herself, lets see what kinda of night we end up with

Sorry to hear Malita isn't well, nothing worse than that.

That's why you can't stay on plan. Sleep deprivation is the devil!! Just do your best until she's better.

At least you're still counting syns so you're not totally off track xx

Dinner: planned Kalb, Potatoes, Mixed Veg

TOTAL: 1 x HEA, 1 x HEB, 14.5 x SYNS

Malita sleeping is still all over the place. I think she is teething, keeps itchy her ear which I guess is ear ache. Hoping for a good night.

Hope Neve clears the infection completely.

This weeks not been good either don't expect a loss on Monday but will be better prepared next week too.

Saturday

Let's just call it off plan.

Early start to go look at a car 2hrs drive away then back for a quick change go head to a bday party.

Breakfast: managed to get 2x weetabix down

Lunch/Dinning: @ Party traditional Eritrean food...yummy and health

Bday cakes. Which was more mouse and a wafer thin layer of sponge which I found refreshing and kid friendly as it was a 1st bday part

Some sweets went down too a glass off sprite too

On the plus side no cooking or washing up tonight, downside may have a gain this week.

Need to get back in the zone

Sunday: not on plan didn't go crazy either

High syns was an avocado salad

Weigh in tomorrow will be happy with STS and look forward for the new week need to be in the zone

Wonderful family day... Went on a family walk also took Malita to the park on the slide...she didn't seem to get it...lol
