Yr a houseful of tush shakers!

Everybody should have one lol :D

I have made a huge pan of celery soup again tonight - for lunches this week for both of us. About 1 to 2 carbs per huge bowlful - just made it with 2 heads celery, 1.7 litres of hot water (full kettle) 2 chicken stock pots, black pepper, boil till softish. Let it cool for an hour then add about 200ml cream and then xanthen gum till you have it to the thickness you want. I use my stick blender and it works brilliantly.

I don't usually count any carbs for celery Bren

Morning love.

OOOOOOOOO that would be good too Susie, I love cauli but the missus isn't as keen so it would be alllllllll mine :)

Right folks - bad news part 2 - the Father-in-Law
He has prostate cancer and has had for 5 or so years now, they stopped treatment last year as it was not having any effect on his psa count and yesterday he started to feel unwell and has a lot of blood in his urine. Doc sent him home from surgery and told him to expect an ambulance - he has since been taken to hospital for tests.
Obviously we won't know much till tomorrow but it is not looking too good. Will keep you updated as I know more. Don't be too sad - he is mid 80's and has survived bowel cancer for over 20 years and they gave him 18 months when he first started with this so he has lasted much longer than the doctors expected.

Oh hun, I do appreciate what you say, that your dad has had lots of extra time that was unexpected - but it's still upsetting for you.

BIGGGGG hugs xxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Susie, this is my FiL though, not my Dad - we are not particularly close to be honest, he doesn't appreciate my religion nor my sexuality and never worries about telling me so!

Sorry for the mix up hun - and I really understand how you feel, hard to have respect for someone who doesn't respect you (we do though :)).

That is what matters in the end :D - I have been on a course all afternoon - we are putting together the "values" for the company - and respect is a biggie :D

Hi Bren, agree respect is the most important - in our company values too but also tricky as means different things to different people!
