yes ive just got some pork out to defrost i got in the bargain bit in tescos 2.99 mmm crackling x

I've done the ginger gammon too, also without the glaze and just some peppercorns. Half the cooking time was boiling then the second half in the oven. It was lovely.

Oh yes, I forgot..... I used half ginger beer and half water because Trev decided to drink half the bottle of ginger lol. Lucky it was a small bit of gammon, you know those end cuts they sell as Tesco value.

Hey all - sorry a bit absent myself - we had a lovely meal, I have updated my menu on the what are we eating thread for yesterday so you can see what I had I was very very good (insert angel smiley here lol)

On a bit of a downer - Dad is still in hospital and I still can't visit due to me having the lurgy and it is hugely frustrating. It has been over a week now but still suffering with nasty green mucous so still infectious, arggggggggggg. Fed up.
