Busybusy's 4 week challenge

Good morning campers!!

Having a fine morning. Just done kettleworx cardio and ladans :-D!!

No breakfast this morning, only a bp and 1.5l water. Not hungry but will have a grand lunch. Shouldn't be skipping B with all this exercise, need to sort it as if tomorrow.

B bp and 1.5l water, naughty naughty!!
L salmon steak & fried cabbage
D keema curry and broccoli

60 mins total. Ladans is 40 and kettleworx 20, they're both done with weights so that's even more effective.....hopefully ;-)
 
Wow busy you are whooping exercises ass! :) how much coconut oil do you use in your bulletproofs? I've just made one and could only drink half, I'm gagging now on them. I use 2 tbs coconut oil, 50g butter.

Awe hi Lauren, missed you too x. Tbh I've ran out atm, so I've been making them with a good tablespoon of butter (I'm not a measurer).

Good morning Atkins islands!!

Had a good Atkins day yesterday, carbs around 15-20g.

Not hungry but forced down 2 boiled eggs with my bp, I'm trying to consciously have breakfast as I work out in the mornings, yet not been eating anything until lunch.

B 2boiled eggs (and I feel like I've had a roast!) & a bBol
l salmon fillet and 1/4 sweetheart ccabbages
d keema and brbroccoli

silly IPhone app is playing up, it's taken me ages to type even this. I shall catch up with everyone's diaries when I can get to a proper machine.

Hi all,

Just weighed and I'm sts, bloody well gutted as its been weeks now. I've cut right back on everything, don't have any alcohol, bars, nuts or fruits, minimum carbs, cook things from scratch, don't have cold meats, I drink lots and workout and have not been able to lose a single pound. Even the cm's are slowing right down. Really doubting what I'm doing now.

Been reading up on what I can do and where to go from here and I really don't know what the answer is. I really don't want to go on a meal replacement thing as in the long run you put on twice as much as you lose, as I have learnt first hand.

Read somewhere about Atkins mentioned reverse diet, where you eat carbs for three days to start losing again. I'm scared if I go off plan I'll find it hard bringing it round again.

Utterly frustrated.
 
Hi busy, may not be a bad idea to carb cycle. I know a few who have broke a stall by doing at 5:2 fast on atkins, maybe a possibility, just be careful not to over do exercising if your fasting lol. Good luck. :)

I'm so confused about what to do. I've stalled for about 9 weeks.

Can you see any difference? I can some change in me, but I know how the scales not moving drives you crazy x

Mine haven't moved for 9 weeks!!! I'm sick of attributing it to one thing or another. Keep changing/cutting things in my diet, I've mixed my exercise up, Im dripping wet after a workput from working hard. Nothing is working not sure what to do.

Don't know if going all carby for a few days is gonna help.
 
You put so much effort in, you deserve to lose. Do you think its because a. You are at your correct weight (I see your BMI is 24.5. or b. you are building muscle, so it APPEARS you arent losing weight.........

I'm not sure that still is my bmi. I was always 9-9.7 stone and quite small. i even bounced back after babies. I think natural figure is small build. I stopped smoking 2years ago, I put 2stone on and it's been a struggle to lose ever since.

Feeling so emotional over it all today. Don't know what to do.

So your bmi is in the average weight range, I guess as all the literature says as you get close to your ideal weight the harder it is to lose. I think the way you are going to have to look at it is that you are eating healthy and getting loads of exercise.

Yes busy it gets harder once you start getting there and you sure are getting there, don't give up....it could be your brain tricking you. We all do it, it's called self sabotage and with that comes self doubt, you look absolutely amazing, a body to die for, motivation to die for. Just keep going, you are doing fine.
 
Hi all soooo sorry I'm annoyingly feeling sorry for myself, but utterly annoyed with my stall of 9 weeks and as the inches have also stalled now I am at a loss as to what I should be doing.

I'd originally thought I'd be able to nail this challenge and be at goal a month or so before the wedding and that I'd be sat happily maintaing until then. So with only 3 weeks left and each week passing at sts I'm wondering what to do next.

Been researching how to break a stall and looking at options. Been on the American forum and found out about egg fast or egg and meat fast. Thinking of doing this starting this today for 3-5 days and see where it takes me, and then building up the carbs 5g a time every few days.........thoughts please???
 
I say give it a go - for a week - and see how you get on.

It sounds like Atkins Bootcamp, but I think Val may have tried it?

Also hun don't forget you're exercising more than before, so maybe you're building up muscle which is why you're not showing any losses?
