Good morning Butterflies, How is everyone today?
After all my moaning last night, I feel much better now. My husband told me I looked like I had put my stone back on! Horrible man! I just can't wait to get under 12st because that's when I'll start to feel slimmer. My cdc said that it's usually after a stone and a half that people notice the difference. I'm just fed up being fat!
 
Hi everyone! How are you today? We are having beautiful weather here, and I'll try to go for a walk some time during the day.

Broxi, I too find the weight loss to be a bit slow, I guess that's not the truth if I compare to what I would have lost on WW or something. I have been weighing myself a lot this week, I don't know why, I usually can stick to once a week. It looks like 2,5 lbs now. I WI on Monday.

I do find the days to go by quickly though, but that is because I have a very busy time for a month now, so I guess it helps to keep super busy even during the nights :D. I am just so happy I found CD, or I would have lived on fast food this time...

Well, back to the laundry, take care girls!
 
Hi all,

I've been finding it really slow too! Silly because it's only been three weeks... I've been weighing myself daily and I think thats probably not helping so I'm going to see if I can leave it weekly like I would on a regular diet. I can see and feel a big difference in clothes which is helping and when I look at my measurements.

I think the huge loss at the beginning tricked me into thinking it would magically keep flying off, even though I know it was water, and 3lb a week is great for me. I think I must change my focus from immediate results to planning for the bigger picture - getting my thinking right, learning to cook, and focusing on what I want to change in my life.

Good morning

I've been out of touch for 2 days.. Work has been hard and late nights. Back to normal now. Lost only a lb this week, but I expected that.. I'm now on day 16 of my TOTM, GP did say it was due to the CD and I may come off the pill for a few weeks just to give my body a rest.

Have really struggled getting the packs down me this week, have had a rotten throat virus, but got some anit biotics yesterday and amzingly, seems a bit better this morning and I'm not so heady. Its lovely weather here in Essex and looking forward to the week ahead.

Hope you are all ok, and I have missed chatting to you all. xxx

Countryangel, I too think that 3 lbs would be great to continue with (so far we followed each others weight loss :)). When is your WI?

claira07, are you drinking cola zero? I love that stuff but now I haven't had any since starting on CD, and I guess the "addiction" is gone. It would be a nice way to spark up the CD though! But it might throw you out of ketosis right?

my weight in from start date is today so yep 3lbs! We are the same! But because I've switched CDCs I'll be having my official weigh in on Monday next week, so I'll update my tracker then so I've got the perfect start date for the June challenge and hopefully I'll be able to weigh Mondays every week onwards....
 
Oh, right, we talked at the June challenge thread about WI on Mondays too! I haven't gotten all the names memorized yet! But I am so happy that you are here too!
 
Yes! I agree totally, it is very nice having you on both threads! Heres to a great WI on Monday, and then starting toward our June goal. I put down 12 lbs, I am thinking about changing it to 10 (since I might have some low carb meals here and there). What is you June goal?
 
Hi everyone, fantastic day here :) I'm just in to have a break from the sun. I can't find my sun hat and I don't want to get dehydrated so taking it easy and cooling down.

Had a girl's night out last night. Stuck to the rules and had a small piece of cod and veg, with some cheese for dessert. Drank sparkling water and had a great time.

WI this morning and I lost 3lb this week :) so nearly got my 1st stone off!

I love this diet! I'm going to be a size 10 by the end of the summer!!! I'm into size 16 tops, very baggy 18 on the bottom, but 16 jeans a bit tight still.

Hi guys how are you all?? sorry wasnt around last night, hubs took me to the flix to see Angels and Demons, had a lovely night.

Been in the garden all day playing with kids and trying to get some sunbathing in as well.

I love this warm weather:)

Has anyone tried the veg water flavouring. I am thinking of getting some on monday to have hot in the evenings for when I'm craving something savoury. I am hoping it would be the equivalent to bovril or a veg cuppa soup etc. Has anyone tried it and can let me know what it's like? Will post on main forum too. Zoe x

I had lovely day in the sun and then a wee sleep for an hour- I did nothing all day and it exhausted me!
Social events are a worry aren't they? People have invited me to dinner at the end of June (I know it's a while away) and they've changed the thing from a drink because somebody told them I don't drink and I can't tell them I don't eat either! I'm worrying about it already cos I feels as though when I break this diet then that will be it!
Anyway, hope you're all still going strong. There are good days and bad days aren't there? Today for me has been fine. But I'm just so totally impatient to be thin or thinner! My fat's starting to get very soft and wobbly now as though it's all breaking up. I'm giving myself another week until I really start noticing the difference and I can't wait for that! Very exciting! It's just a bit boring just now cos it's still early days.
