Caledonian Dukan

Today has been a very bleurgh day - kept the kids up late last night hoping for a lie-in this morning but as usual three year old woke at 6.30. Och well, maybe when she's a teenager and wanting to laze in bed all day I'll wake her up at 6.30 just for the hell of it! Did a bit of housework, took kids to Highland Dancing, bought a calla lilly and a begonia for the kitchen. Kids have had a fighting-with-each other and moaning-at-me kind of day which doesn't help. Hope the weather tomorrow is good enough that we can all go out for a long walk.

CD sounds as if you've had a trying day lol, hope the sun shines for you so you all can escape lol

kids eh who'd have em - I was woken by one coming in at 4 this morning - I dont really sleep until I can here a key going in the door ............. hate it when they are out until the early hours but what can you do in my Son Michael's words 'MUM!!!!, you can't wrap me up in cotton wool'. Have a good day CD - I will be trying my best to waken child no 2 but will probably see him around 3 this afternoon looking like a zombie ...........

I remember those days well, he should enjoy them they're youth x

Today's menu:
B - Scrambled eggs & mushrooms, L - Beef salad, D - Chicken & asparagus, S - mocha muffin, yoghurt, SF jelly

Can't wait till my dinner, love asparagus! Three people commented on me looking skinny yesterday (one doesn't count, she's lost 5 stone herself so knows what I like to hear!). The other two were just Mums at the school gate. Must remember to wear the new top I was wearing again as it's obviously flattering (horizontal stripes and they still reckoned I was looking skinny??)
Had to chuckle last night, I was lying on my stomach in the bath bathing my nipple-piercing and reading but couldn't get comfortable when I realised it was because my hip bones have little padding these days and they were finding the bath sore! What a nicer feeling than damming the bath water.
Spent the morning repotting a few plants and this evening I'm beginning making dolls clothes to put away for daughter's Christmas present. Bought my son an original ghostbusters gun/zapper thing on ebay so he'll be ecstatic in December. 85 days till hubby here for good :)

Just worked out, I have lost 96lbs!!!! That's amazing, I can't believe I've had the will-power. Thank goodness for Dukan. Definitely got to try to lose 100lbs.

not long till hubby back for good... and lol at the hip bones comment... i have the same problem sitting on anything hard with my bum bones lol

CD..... hahaha when you started your post of lying in the bath on your belly I couldnt think why lol poor you with sore nips, the price you pay for being a rebel. My boys loved ghostbuster when the were young with their back packs, 1 year 10 month between them so most of the time I had to buy two of the popular toys, and action men they loved them. Your Hubbys home soon to his new 96 lb lighter wife, what a massive achievement xxx

CD I've just got out the bath I haven't even dried my hair because I'll have to post what I've just done.....its your fault your a bad influence on me, I thought its years since I layed on my belly in the bath...so I did ooooooo it was great lol I did a few turns like a dolphin, I felt so much slimmer and can't wait to tell OH he will think I've flipped. Another Dukan triumph couldn't bend two months ago xxx

LOL reading your posts gals!!! CD we all have to suffer a bit for our weight loss - I am the same as Ellie - my seat bones are suffering!!!! I see you are now a lb below your target weight - that is great - defo think you should head for the big 100!!!! It was an amazing feeling when I got there - still can't believe how much weight I have lost - and how much I still have to lose and again I may alter my TW when I get closer again as I will still be at the top of my recommended weight for my height. Also think my BMI will still be in the overweight range and that will bug me but we will see -getting older so don't want to look scrawny and more wrinkly!!! Maybe I will just make myself taller - I am almost five foot five so that might help!LOLOLOL!

ive been told wearing heels lowers our BMI LOL

Well I'm feeling sorry for myself so thought I'd write here rather than comfort eat. Am very weary, have needed to go to bed at same time as kids every night for nearly a fortnight. Have a cold that wont go way, the arthritis in my knees is bad at the minute and my stomach has been hurting a fair bit today. Also, of course, missing Mr CD like crazy. I desperately want to comfort eat and drink a bottle of wine and not doing so is making me even grumpier. :sigh2:

your right to come on here and moan.... if you comfort eat and drink wine it wont help in the long run as you start to put the weight back on :(

CD you've a lot of aches and pains and an its magnified by OH working away, don't give in to a pig out it will aggrevate your stomach to start with and its not worth ruining your weight loss x and as for the wine......acid reflux comes to mind. Take some tablets you will feel better soon, keep posting keep out of the kitchen.....xxx

I know you won't crumble CD and telling us is a great plan. Flippin heck every time you hit a level bit of road something comes along to challenge you again - you are one heck of a tough cookie (with a nipple bar!!!!) LOL...... Stay strong CD and go with the flow - if you need to go to bed, go to bed etc etc!!! That wine would be such a disappointment and the hangover just a disaster!!!
