Caledonian Dukan

Roll on July, and no your not sloppy you just love you hubby lol the amount of children prove that hehehe. Sounds like you health has really floored you but sounds as if its all behind you now xxx july isn't that far away you'll have to make a count down chart for the kids and yourself to mark down DDay, have a great day feeding the ducks and ducklings there so cute have a great afternoon xxx

74 sleeps till D-day!
Have decided to really focus on losing weight between now and then to amaze him! Also, upping my exercise might help me feel better - you never know! So, going to either swim or walk every day the kids are in Nursery. And get back to my pilates, if it doesn't hurt my stomach. Also, really keep salt and dairy to a minimum so no bacon and very little stock cubes and processed cold meat. Lots of leafy greens and water. Think a pedometer would be a good motivator. I can do this!

YES YOU CAN!

Feeling smug as just got back from walk along canal and now it is pouring down - we missed getting soaked, ha! Had to laugh whilst we were out, my boy was looking at a couple of fishermen and decided exactly where he will fish with his Dad in the summer - then he looked very seriously at me and said it wouldn't matter if he and his Dad didn't manage to catch anything as they would bring fish and chips home for dinner instead! He's so sweet and adorable, even with his difficulties. Watching a Buttonmoon DVD now.

Awwwww how cute xxx

Lovin the positive vibes Mrs CD - enjoy Buttonmoon - I am getting excited about more rhubarb tonight!!!!!

(73 sleeps)
Needing to sit for a calm down after kids have very enthusiastically helped me to re-pot a few plants...compost was EVERYWHERE apart from where I wanted it :). They enthusiastically helped me sweep up afterwards too .
Going to go and choose new carpets for two bedrooms in a bit, then I need to get stuck in redecorating in the evenings so that they can be fitted. Girls want pink/purple room, Boy wants black (he's a four year old goth!), eldest wants white. I just want someone else to do it all!!! Have to also finish sanding a double bed down to paint white for eldest. Whew. It'll all be worth it though when it's finished, that's what I'm trying to focus on.
Have had to nag Mr CD to eat more protein as he is not losing weight and hasn't for a while. He's lost 3 and a half stone which is fantastic but he still has a stone to go to get to a healthy bmi. It's hard when we are so far apart to know what is going wrong. I'll tell him to keep a food diary for a week and then nag again afterwards :D.

Busy, busy, busy CD.....Loads of projects to keep you occuipied till hubby comes home, and plenty of helpers xxx

Ah young helpers - great aren't they!!! Hard to know where hubby going wrong without seeing the food diary - more unusual for men to stall in their weight loss so something probably amiss - bet it is something really small that just doesn't suit him..... Sure you will get to the bottom of it - no better expert than you! Gosh you got alotta stuff to do in the house - I am not the best DIY person - I can paint stables with the best of them but don't have any patience for 'proper' painting where you actually have to be careful!!!! LOL! Here's to a great week CD!

Have been sanding the bed all evening whilst listening to Patsy Cline, been pleasantly relaxing in a tiring kind of way. Still got loads to do - heavy varnish and lots of surfaces, ho hum.
Tomorrow's PV:
B - Scrambled eggs, mushrooms; L - Chicken salad; D - herb-crusted salmon, sauteed diced BNS, spinach; S - vanilla muffin, SF jelly
Really looking forward to the dinner - first try of new recipe so hope it's good.
Tomorrow I have a friend and her wee daughter coming round and I'm also going to be a complete glutton for punishment and have my other nipple pierced .

CD hubby will loose weight don't worry...hell not be able to swallow when he sees both nips pierced lol

He's the one that most wants the other one done - don't hear him volunteering to have his done though! Ha, Ha we could be like one of those couples with matching outfits - matching piercings to get embarrassed about at airport security!!

men are wimps lol

OH and I made the mistake some years ago of painting all my older daughter's bedroom furniture pink - mini 4-poster, chest-of-drawers, dressing table, shelves, the lot. She was 3 at the time. Of course now she's a teenager she hates it but we just don't have the will to sand it all back down again and paint it white! Your energy and motivation are impressive, keep it up!

(72 sleeps)
Knackered today - 7 year old started being sick at 11pm last night and continued till I finally got to sleep at gone 3am. She woke up fine this morning though! I've had rather a lot of coffee so am buzzing. Had a lovely afternoon with best friend and her two year old, had new piercing done and finally got caught up with some housework I've been too low to bother with recently. Feeling positive, which is lovely compared to recently. Going to have a long soak in the bath and then do more sanding before having an early night. Tonight's dinner was gorgeous, sauteed diced BNS is going to be a regular from now on! Might try seasoning it with "Southern" spices next time - yum. Tomorrow I'm having my legs waxed, trying to pluck up courage to get them out this summer - we'll see.
Tomorrow's PP:
B - Ham quiches; L - Chicken; D - Turkish meatballs (oatbran in); S - SF jelly

72 and counting, them dats are clocking down. Your right housework can wait when your feeling down, fantastic that your back and feeling positive again, and watch you don't catch that piercing while you sanding have a great evening xxx
