Caledonian Dukan

Well, weighed and down 3/4 lbs. Hmm, not great considering I have been extremely good with food this week and I bizarrely put on 2lbs last week that I was hoping would all be off this week. I think my trouble is that whilst I do a fair amount of walking (5 miles 5 days a week) my body is used to that - I can't up it easily until Mr CD here though. Am desperate to get back to my mile swim every day. And some gym too. 59 sleeps and I can. Going to have another strict week but and a chicken breast every day to up protein levels. Can't afford more than that at the minute. And, I suppose, eat diureticly.

So, today's PV:
B - Scrambled eggs & mushrooms; L - Grilled chicken, cabbage & celery soup; D - Salmon, asparagus; S - Mixed spice muffin

Have a great day CD xxx

Gosh I'm weary, hope I'm not getting unwell again. Days are going so slowly.

fingers crossed your not on the way down again CD, hopfully its just the kids and the decorating.....your probably stretching yourself too thin xxx Mr CD will be home shortly to help wwith the kids and everything else. Keep going xxx *MASSIVE HUGS*

Thanks Sid, I ought to be sensible and rest but things need to be done so can't. Second coat of gloss on a double bed done tonight - takes 2hrs per coat and will need a third. Sore on my arthritic knees and not great for my stomach somehow (smell of gloss makes me feel sick). Looking good though which is the main thing. Tomorrow I need to research just how to gloss sash windows without accidentally painting them shut! Going to bed now so tomorrow's muffin will come quicker :D

Hope you wake up feeling better x

hope you feel much better this morning x

Woke up tired and with a headache that hasn't left all day. It's been lovely weather here which should make me happy but felt quite stressed as kids played out for two hours after school but then had to make dinner, do homework and give them all baths. Phew. And tomorrow is meant to be gorgeous weather so we will probably be out for three hours then I'll be even more rushed when we get home! Normally, I wouldn't care - them being out playing is so important but I am weary and headachy and short-tempered. Can't blame PMT, think I'm just desperate for Mr CD to be here now - 57 more sleeps.
Today has been good food wise, drink too.
Tomorrow's PV:
B - Ham & mushroom quiches (loads to try and give me some energy); L - Grilled chicken, vegetable soup; D - Salmon, asparagus; S - Rhubarb muffin

It could be worse - it could have rained all day yesterday as it did here ;)
I agree with you re walking. I'm in the same position too in that my body has become used to my walking an hour fast each day and it's no longer sufficient! It's great for the old mind though, and puts me in the right mindset for a day's "healthy eating". Weekends I do try the odd trot (jog would be pushing it!) sporadically, but my loose skin means I feel as if I'm wobbling around in someone else's body! Weird feeling...
What happened to moving to conso? Did I miss something?

CD, 56 sleeps now....come on keep you pecker up...or you pierced nips lol, you'll get you exercise levels up once Mr.CD home and as maintainer asked...what about conso???

Conso explanation - decided my husband needs all my support to lose his last stone as he has not been eating enough protein so not been losing. The last thing he needs is me enjoying gala meals whilst he's on a PP, even if we are hundreds of miles apart. Also, Dukan calculation now puts my Target Weight at 10 stone 1 (only difference I put in was that I now have thin bone structure as I do now). Whilst I don't really think I'll get down there I might as well spend the time till Mr CD is ready for Conso trying.

I am feeling very sorry for myself today - last night I managed to break the two smallest toes on my right foot. Ouch, ouch, ouch. It was more like a School Hobble this morning! And my youngest accidentally trod on my foot at lunchtime which was agony. I'm fed up and want Mr CD here right now and a bottle of wine or two. Trying to rest it as much as I can but not easy when solely responsible for school, cooking, washing up etc. Oh well, could have been worse.

Tomorrow's PP:
B - Muffin & scrambled eggs; L - Salmon; D - Chicken; S - Prawns

CD, I feel your pain! I broke my little toe last year by stubbing it on the sofa - such a silly thing! Anyway, it flipping hurt for a flipping couple of weeks :(

Stay strong, wine won't help!!

P x

Ok Mr.CD 1 stone to conso xxx your poor toes :-( and if you drink that wine you know you'll feel worse tomorrow and.....you'll have a hangover from hell to go with broken toes, it must be difficult being a temporary one parent family xxx keep going CD, he not be long xxx

Another blimmin thing to go wrong - honestly CD sending you all the good luck I have spare cos it looks like you need it!!! Ouch for your poor toes...... Stay strong Mrs - Mr CD not far away - don't down the wine - never the answer though you think it might help - do something nice for yourself instead - if there is a time where all the children are at school/nursery then treat yourself to a massage or similar? Maybe not your thing but hope you can think of something to keep you going...... Not long now and counting.....

Sat resting my poor toes, amazing just how often children knock your feet by accident - you don't realise until you have a sore foot!! Managed to do another coat of gloss on eldest's bed this evening - just one more to do I think, thank goodness. Hilarious how carefully I was sitting and getting up, desperate not to knock my foot. My boy had his first afternoon in school today!!! Back again tomorrow for the morning and then he starts for good after the summer. I found it quite sad to see the differences between him and the other boys - it was very clear to me he finds social communication difficult. However, he enjoyed himself and was quite happy which is all I care about. My heart wrenches for him but he is at the minute oblivious to his problems, long may this continue.
Today has been good foodwise, no yoghurt/salty food and lots of protein.
Tomorrow's PV:
B - Scrambled eggs & mushrooms; L - Tuna x 2 & vegetable soup; D - Grilled chicken & asparagus; S - Muffin

you will be amazed at how well he will adapt CD :)

That's what I'm hoping Ellie, just adore him so much that I suffer for him!

Children are soooo adaptable and accepting and he will fly at school I am sure CD....... Great to hear you upbeat despite your poorly toes - keep going CD we are all rooting for you - My baby boy starts school after the summer holidays too - hard not to worry how they will do regardless but Ben seems to love it already though he still finds it incredibly tiring - the teacher says he doesn't shut up - must be worn out after five hours of non stop talking! Looks like you have a good food day.... well done - loving this hot weather - Ben only went to bed at 9pm so will probably be a monster tomorrow - couldn't help it though as so nice to be outside playing - he must have done about 10 miles on his bike - back and forth over our drive speed bumps!!! Hilarious!

It's lovely to see kids out playing in hot weather - mine were playing basketball this evening, after a two hour walk (hobble!) home through two parks! They'll still be up at ridiculous o'clock in the morning though!

oh the joys of kids lol
