Caledonian Dukan

So much for thinking the rain was off so the walk to school would be nice - we got there okay but got painfully hailed on all the way back :(. Boy was running along, hood up, telling me we needed hard hats :D. So didn't go jeans shopping in the end. Have been moving things from room to room today which seems to take forever, but the kids seem happy with their new rooms which is the main thing. Place is a bombsite though. 63 more sleeps.

:0chacha:63 sleeps and counting xxx

i like the look of the pastel jeans but think im too old for them lol

wash your mouth out Ellie lol your defo not too old. they are great summer trouses xxx

My poor wee boy's eardrum burst, yet again, last night. It's the fifth time since he was ill in hospital with scarlet fever a couple of years ago, I'm really worried that all the scarring is going to affect his hearing so we have yet another trip to the audiology dept. in a couple of weeks to check. Poor wee thing also has a urine infection and a bad cold. He's such a lively boy usually, it's horrible to see him like this. Lots of cuddles from me and his blankie!

Poor wee man it's awfull when they have trouble with ears :(

poor little soul, pain in the ear must be the worst pain CD, lots and lots of big cuddles needed xxx

Had to stop posting as hubby wanted to Skype so back again now...
Really hope scales show even a slight fall on Sunday as have been SO good this week. No yoghurt, no jelly, no sweetener, no cream cheese, no carby veg like BNS, lots of leafy greens, lots of water, plenty of protein. Keeping fingers crossed.

Tomorrow's PV:
B - Ham & Mushroom quiches; L - Tuna, vegetable soup; D - Mince, brussel sprouts; S - Mocha muffin

Fingers crossed for you cd :)

CD your soooo in the zone good luck xxx

Crossed here too - but now crossing fingers for 2 people and its getting painful! You deserve a loss CD but you know what these pesky scales are like so take a chill pill before just in case!!! LOL! x

Thanks guys, fed up of Cruise so have a lot of motivation to be firm with myself - just hope it makes a difference! If not, I'll try a week with lots of diuretic veg on PV days (that'll be my excuse for buying lots of asparagus ;)) and start cooking with apple cider vinegar. And somehow find the money to have even more protein (yes, liking it, steak and asparagus every night :D).

Wow the asparagus is so fat this year off all the rain but fab tasting, had 7 spears( whole pack) £2.50 but sooooo worth it and I peed like the store horse twice through the night. ....love the effect lol :)

Yo CD, with the mighty Brussel Sprout in your belly, you can't fail to lose this week :D

Happy trumping!

Get our new grey/white girl kitten on Sunday - so far, names for it (to be drawn out of a hat so it's fair) are: Nightstar, Cloud, Dog, Pink, Slimer or Tungsten. Hope it doesn't get a complex :D.
Good Dukan day again today. Tomorrow's PP:
B - Rhubarb & Ginger muffin, scambled eggs; L - Turkey; D - Salmon

ahh nice names for kitty ;-) I lol'd at 'dog' hahaha

Wish someone else was here to make my dinner for me, can't be asked!

We're struggling with names for our 2 baby guinea pigs too. One is black with white bits (officially 'magpie') and the other dark cream with brown bits (officially 'harlequin'). All (sensible!) suggestions welcome - so far we have Lily and Ginger and I'm not keen on either and also not convinced anyone feels particularly passionately about either name. Dodgy when you let children choose names, isn't it? My 3rd child's name was chosen by the oldest 2 - Robin, after Robin Hood and Batman and Robin. OH and I had no time or energy to come up with anything better and actually it really suits him. My 4th, though, could have ended up being Tulip or Flapjack if I'd let Robin have his way!

Those names made me lol Sarah :D

Sorry no helpful name selections for you CD - my pets were called Fluffy, Sindy and Daisy so I think I have terrible taste in names!!!! Well apart from Ben - not short for Benjamin - mind you my Mum insists on spelling it Beinn cos she is scottish thru and thru - I said I couldn't possibly spell it like that as people would be pronouncing it wrong all the time!!! Not heard any painting news??? Are you taking a weekend off???? Hope your having a good one. x
