I'm having 4 packs, no veg, no milk but that is my choice. Others might do the same, or they might use their allowance. You do need to find what is best for you, no two people are the same
And that's the truth of it. For a VLCD this diet is so flexible and you need to find something that suits you personally. If that's just the packs then that's what you do, if you need a 'real' meal then have the protein and veg instead of a pack. And you can change your mind every day depending on your mood. Don't focus on what you can't have, focus on what you can, and how successful the diet will be for you. What's better, being able to eat bread and potatoes or being slim and healthy? I chose the latter.
