Has soon has i had my strawberry shake i was fine again must say that was scary lol lol but i wasnt hungary at all.!

Any ideas why this happened to me?

When was your last shake or CD meal? Is it possible you went a little longer than usual. Also, you are a lot thinner now than when you started, so maybe you have less "reserve" to draw on. Here's to hoping that you're not becoming ill --- so many of us are right now.

Shanny,

Maybe the tuna did not agree with you. Are you feeling better now?

MM

Why thank you Butterfly! 3 more lbs down so far this week with 3 days to go, so keeping fingers crossed for Wed.....

MM - Wadpol is an aircraft polish that we used on the ship when I was at Uni - used to get bored whilst on watch during the night and would clean the brass, so became known as Wadpol-Pol (am called Polly). Silly really. Live in Somerset, work in Hampshire and spend many w/es in London, so can safely say that I live in my car!! Are you at Alconbury?

Big cat food shop today - £130-odd even though it was 3 for 2 - ridiculous! Oh well, at least that's them sorted for the next however-many months.

For some reason been really nibbley today. Had some cottage cheese & cauliflower earlier, so not too bad I suppose.... but also had a couple of shavings of parmesan... hhhmmm..... Must be good if am going to give us a reasonable score next week! Am even trying to not take my drugs, so I don't need to eat. Hhhmmm....

Time to go and catch up with this week's e[isode of "Hung"...

Hope you're all having a good day.

(am called Polly). Interesting name origin. Can we call you Polly?

Are you at Alconbury? YES... my husband is a civilian working on RAF Molesworth. We have lived in Europe for 15 years. The past six in this area.

Big cat food shop today - £130-odd even though it was 3 for 2 - ridiculous! How many Cats do you have!!!

Time to go and catch up with this week's e[isode of "Hung"... Is this show any good?

Hope you're all having a good day. Considering the lousey weather, not too bad.

Thanks. MM

I love chicken. And, how about some prawns and salmon?

it doesnt say that for SS+ MM?? do u have the prepacked chicke breasts??

Im on my conculsion now so nearly done wooooow woooooo haha

MM

Of course you can! Although most people call me Pol.

Is he an engineer? I work at RAF Odiham very closely with Boeing, so am mililtary working with American civilians!

Only 2, but their food isn't often on offer, so thought I'd stock up. Painful today, but will save in the long term. Also, de-flea stuff is soooo expensive. Do you have animals?

Re "Hung" - I enjoy it - chewing gum for the mind! Maybe I'm just jealous......!!

Hi Polly,

He is a computer geek. I was a teacher (in the US -- history) and am now working part-time as a TA in a British secondary school.

I am originally from Seattle - loads of my family worked for Boeing. My parents met whilst working there!

I am totally a cat person, but we have little Yorkie (who acts a lot like a cat, but doesn't shed!) We got the dog because our daughter was terrified of dogs and the therapist said get her puppy and her fear will fade as it grows. It has... she'll walk right to people with huge dogs and start asking about them. We got the dog in September 3 years ago.

I'll have to see if I can find it -- I hate joining after missing episodes, but I can see if I can get it on itunes.

Shanny, Re: prawns and salmon... probably not on UK CD list, but are on most Low GI diets. I think you could check equivalents and ask your CD counsellor about it.

MM (you can call me Mel -- for Melissa -- Pol and Shan)

Mel - Guess I'll be sending you my shopping list for your PX - I take it you have one?! Used to love NEX shopping whilst on the ship, or hitting the PXs in Tampa & Ramstein when my ex was based in the US & Germany. Guess with the £ not being so great these days, it's not as much of a bargain - was brilliant when $2 to £1!

Half of the US seems to work for Boeing! My ex's uncle (British) works for them in Long Beach - not bad....!! Most of the guys & girls I work with have come over from Philly, but are all slowly moving back and being replaced by UK nationals. Guess I'll have to go and visit them!

Not been to Seattle. There is just too much of the States to visit, especially when I'm wanting to go back to places I've already visited! Do you get back often?

I'm as much of a dog person as a cat person, but being away from home so much is easier with mogs. I hope to get a dog or two when I finally grow up and get a proper job.... oh and a horse.... and some pigs..... and chickens....and a donkey! I nearly bought hamsters or gerbils for my god-daughters today, but I thought that their Mum would kill me!!!

Hey Pol,

We have a very small sad BX -- I do most of my shopping online. We lived at Ramstein for 7 years... ahhhh, the land of the big BX. The have finally opened the supermall there - it has been under construction for years. I hope to visit it in February.

I was back in the US (Florida this past August) to set my son up to start Uni there. I do not get back all that often because of the kids being in school -- and the British School year running until late July and the airfares being so high in August. Plus, there is a lot of Europe I've not seen. Making a list though.

Mel

I want to eat and cheat at the moment AARRHHH something sweet,! i struggle at nite times.x

Shanny,

Do you have a Choc shake you do up as a hot choc. Even a part of one? Maybe some flavoured tea with artificial sweetner. The nights are hard for me, too.

I have been trying to brush and floss my teeth (early and with effort) and that way I won't want to cheat and have to redo the process.

Mel

Times like this i miss WW hahha im going to have a cuppa tea then watch t.v in bed then.!

Im telling myself i could have a chocolate and make up for it tomorrow.!! haha

Good Girl,

I wish you many pleasant dreams.

MM

Mel - Might have to come with you!! Spot of BX shopping (the Timberland boots I bought there years ago need replacing) and then down to Trier or elsewhere in the Mosel for a spot of wine tasting/shopping.....!!

I don't normally have a sweet tooth (cheese is my biggest downfall), but I've been craving something sweet this evening, so choc mint for supper instead of soup. Was going to nibble the other half of the peanut bar, but my Mum got to it first!! The sooner they get their aerial fixed and so she doesn't have to come around to mine to watch TV, the better! Oh well, suppose she 'saved' me from it! Very funny that she keeps wanting to taste my shakes & soups! At least she's being supportive....

Shanny - have you given in to the chocolate?

Hey Wadpol,

If I decide to drive you'd be welcome to come along... seriously. If I fly, then you could also -- I'd be doing the RyanAir thing into Hahn (Frankfurt ancillary airport) and then picking up a rental car.

I try to go back at least once a year to visit my "German" family for a day or so (hitting Ramstein and Vogelweh's Bxes in the process) -- and then I drive down to Stuttgart to visit my American friends. I often drag another lady along with me... so, it's me, my DD (age 10 lovely, quiet child) and then You?

MM

P.S. I speak okay German.
