Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

It sounds like they're really piling the work on you, how rude of them! Haha I know, education is definitely masochism!

My arthritis-ridden doggy is a bit of an elaborate mix to be honest, he's a rescue dog and we have no idea which breeds crossed to create him! :) He has Alsatian colouring so I think he has a little bit of Alsatian in him, and apparently they're prone to problems in their hind legs so I think that might explain his leg issues. He's an old man now so things like arthritis are to be expected, but if that treatment is as amazing as it sounds I'm looking forward to seeing him running around again! xx

Yeah German shepherds are ******* for joint problems ;) Apparently retriever's are too. Think Ellie has done well to get to 9 (she's 10 next month!) without arthritis to be honest. She's been a very healthy dog until the last year or so. Nothing major or scary though, which is very good :)

Gah tell me about it! Education is doing my head in right now....I'm really hoping I start to enjoy it and get back in to the swing of it asap. I hate the thought of doing this course and not enjoying it and feeling stupid all the time

I know what you mean, I'm feeling so thick at the moment because of one particular essay! I suppose it's just a matter of trying to look at the bigger picture, we must both be clever or we wouldn't have got to degree level so one difficult assignment shouldn't put us off! I hope your work's going ok today :)

Yeah, at least arthritis is something that's sort of expected at Ellie and Max's ages, I'd rather he had arthritis than something terrifying! He's never really been ill either, he's never had to go to the vets other than for his injections and when we first noticed his legs were getting bad. He's such a grandad! Haha xx

Awww I miss my granddad dog Jack! We had to have him put to sleep almost 3 years ago because he went in to kidney failure. But he was almost 21  If he had of been alive a little longer he would have made it to 21 2 months before my Sister lol.
He was one of those dogs who was rarely ill. He had bad flea allergies when he was younger, but Uncle Alan sorted them. Then he had a few months on heart meds, then came off them-he was like a new dog! And then his kidneys finally packed in.
He did bloody well that dog :D

I got in a panic about uni stuff before then realized I was an idiot because I'd gotten ahead of the planner. Thought I had an experiment week this week, but its not till the week after. Trouble is the week it's due is my next long and late week/weekend at work. So have emailed my tutor and asked if I get ahead with the reading can I do the experiment a week late coz I'm always off the week after a weekend at work. She said it's fine :D Only things I have planned for that week are probably a cinema trip and a day at Crufts!

Hope your essay isn't getting you too down. Sounds like you're doing bloody brilliantly though mate and are really settling in to uni life again :)

21? Wow! Sounds like he had a really good life :)

Hurray, so you don't have to worry too much after all? I wish I could say the same, really almost on the verge of packing it all in because of this stupid proposal I have to write. It's only 25% of one module mark but I just can't get past it, it's driving me mad! xx

Oh I am friggin ridiculous!!! :( My Sister convinced me to get a huge slice of cake in the Morrison's cafe  I mean really! Guess our weekend away started earlier than expected. I have also just had some animal biscuits and a couple of Hotel Chocolate batons. No wonder I'm not losing any weight

After this weekend I WILL be 100% till Crufts. I will!!

My lunch was only 3.5 syns and my tea was syn free, so not totally out of hand today. Just annoyed with myself.

Also walked both dogs and walked to and from the shops :)

Week 8

Right, I have had an awesometacular weekend away in Birmingham with my sister and a huge group of our interweb friends. Completely and utterly off plan, as you'd expect, but I'm now feeling a lot more motivated over SW. I'm determined that now I've had one more blow-out that that is it, I should be able to concentrate and stick to plan now. I know for certain that my next day off will be Crufts, but it WILL only be that one day.

So yeah, lets get back to some hardcore SW'ing :bunnydance:
I'm also gonna reign in my portion sizes coz they were getting a little ridiculous

I'm feeling motivated too now hun, had a good week last week, and we both have holidays to look forward too and do some hardcore slimming for.... Think how slinky you want to look on the beach!

We can do it, I know we can!! :) :)

Thank you PCS :D It does help to think about buying snazzy new clothes for a holiday ;) Where are you off to?

Went to the vets with Ellie again today and we've decided to hold off on further medication for now as the vet doesn't think her arthritis is bad enough for the super cool treatment. She basically didn't improve at all and he doesn't feel she actually needs treatment right now. But to keep a close eye on her and obviously go back if I see any changes. Could be a few weeks or it could be months!
Also no more prebiotics either as they seem to have done the trick :) Maybe they'll just be an occasional treatment and not something to have to worry about all the time.
Pretty good really!

Also went in to town with Mum to the pictures and to Wagamama. Tried 2 new things there-Edamame and the veggie ramen. Not too sure how to syn the meal but I'll have a go!

Tuesday Food:

Lunch: Veggie ravioli (2), wholemeal toast (HexB1), low fat cheese (HexA1), salad, and dressing (0.5)

At the cinema: Funsize Maltesers (5)

Wagamama: Veggie Ramen-loads of veggies, whole-wheat noodles, tofu (maybe 4, going by another Wagamama's thread), and HexB2 for the oil?
Edamame with salt. And a little dish of pickles.

Drinks: Coffee (milk half HexA2) Coke Zero. Diet Irn Bru. Green tea.

Syns used: 11.5
Syns left: 9

Exercise: Around 50mins walking Ellie.
Maybe an hour and a half walking to and from bus stops and around town.
