Chelsea's last stone off by Christmas mission!!

How horrible for you, Doctors, I would rather go and see the vet, I would probably get better care !
Best of luck, I hope everything works out and take care.:D

I do not know how it is in the UK, but in the US it is much more difficult to get into Vet school than medical school.

Mel

Same here. One of my nieces is a doctor/gynae surgeon and one of her sisters is a vet. The vet trained for longer.....

@Bess -- Makes sense. Horses, rabbits, birds, etc. all so different. people are people. I suspect there is a lot more to learn as a vet.

Also, aminals (yes I meant that lol) can't actually speak so the medic has to find out what's wrong entirely on their own. Unlike us humans........"Doctor doctor I feel like I am a pair of curtains" "Well pull yourself together then"

Groooooooooooaaaaaaaannnnnnnnn :D

Hi Chels, are you posting on your gold diary now?
Missing you here.

Morning Bev, yes do tend to post thoughts and feelings over on Gold, not really following the SW way at the moment, which is naughty as I have spent loads on my wedding/cruise clothes and they will be too tight if I don't get back into the swing of it  I am still keeping tabs on everyone here though, so not gone anywhere xx

You at work already? Or just up and about?

I've been up for a couple of hours........so hot in bed, despite kicking off duvet in the night, window open and it being only 4 degrees overnight. It drives me mad having this internal fire going on  Anyway, no work today as me, Jess and her friend are going out to find Jess her perfect wedding dress.

Two weddings in 11 months ................ I'm getting a bit "yeah whatever" with it :D:D

I can see by the lists of posts with your name on it that you have had another restful night.............not xxx

Sorry you're still struggling with the internal furnace. It really isn't nice, in fact it's sh*t, so you have my sympathies.

Not been to bed at all. Had a "down" day yesterday and I just didn't feel like sleep so I've been browsing Minis all night. Found a couple of very interesting things - one of which I'm in the middle of posting on my diary!

When does Jess get married? She isn't the one on the cruise is she?

@Bev -- Jess is getting married in 11 months. DD2 is getting married soon on the cruise ship. And, DD1 is married with twins. (Three girls!)

Lol Mel, nearly right. Jess is getting married in 11 months, DD2 has the twins and she is getting married in July on the cruise and DD1 is married (10 years) and has daughter and son :D:D:D And they have kept me extremely poor financially but oh so rich with my girls and their kiddies :)

Okay, I was close... lol

As the title change suggests, I now have 38 days to sort myself out  I've been faffing around half-heartedly for a few weeks now. Stopped going to class, stopped writing a food diary and just, well, stopped. Now I am going again. 38 days before the cruise :D:D Having spent so much money on outfits can you imagine the horror and disappointment if they don't fit?????!!!!

Anyway, here goes:-

Day 1.

B. Small slice wholemeal bread (HEB)
Scrambled egg, with a little milk (HEA)

S. 2 pears, satsuma, banana, apple. 2 cereal bars (10 syns)

L. handful grapes and activia ff yogurt

D. Ham, herb and leaf salad, strawberries, chicken

Not sure about my weight either, as I have been too much of a coward to weigh :eek:

Don't worry about it - the important thing is that you are doing something about it now. Jump on those scales tomorrow, write it down, then don't give the number a second thought until next week. It's just one of many ways of measuring success - it's certainly not the best one so don't give it more value than it's worth. Your best measure of success is completing each day on plan! That's fully in your control (as opposed to those temperamental scales!) and you get to achieve success on a daily basis :)

Have a great day and keep glugging that water! (I know I am after too much to drink yesterday!) :D

Go for it Chels! Um, how did you change your title?

Only 38 days to go, how exciting! You're going to look fab in all your new outfits. Well done on all you've achieved so far and good luck for each of the next 38 days.
