Chris' 2014 Exante Diary.

Thanks for all the encouragement, I went to the gym, did 6k run in 32:18 so really pleased that a 3 min improvement since 20th Jan. Still need to push out a 9k run at some point this week.

Breakfast-: 2 soft boiled eggs

Lunch-: smoked mackerel salad.

Snack Muller light yogurt with 9 raspberries.

Evening Meal-: special fried rice with prawns & cashew nuts as my healthy B's

Thank you, I'm really pleased, I had hoped that I could increase the distance slowly and maintain my pace. I had no idea that I would get quicker and increase the distance.

Had the steak and kidney pie it was lovely, worked out the pie lid was 10 syns so had my 1/4.

No gym just to busy in work.

Well another hectic day, not gym time so didn't get my 9k done, Good job really as I now have my 6 monthly fitness test tomorrow. Lets see how quick I can run 1.5miles.
 
You really are doing so well Chris, I also love reading your meals and I love the way you always make such sensible choices. Good luck with the test tomorrow, I'm sure you'll do brilliantly :)

WI was STS, but I managed 10:05 on my mile and a half. I get 11:30 at my age and the best I have done in a long time it 10:27. So stuff the weight, I might still be fat but at least I am getting fitter.

On a serious note I have still had to tighten my belt this week so think I my be rebuilding so of the muscle that I burnt whilst in ketosis, so I am happy with a STS.

Great job Chris. Glad ur getting faster. Feels goods doesn't it?! Ur weight will just slide off, especially if ur sticking to a diet. How's mrs Chris getting on?

I can't wait to get on the roads again :) got physio Monday, appt with a biomechanics/functional movement specialist tues and on Wednesday I've got x-ray on hips and pelvis. Hopefully one of those will be able to identify problem and help get me up n running again!
