Chunky Dunking, taking the plunge and losing the flab!

You're not having an easy time of it lately are you. I blame America you were doing so awesome before you went away! Xx

Eurgh I know, this isn't like me, even before I started dieting I had better self control than this! I think I might just write this week off, not being naughty - especially since I'm skint till pay day - but just eat a little bit of what I fancy in moderation and start a fresh on Saturday as a new week, I should be able to do exercise by then too!

It might do you good to not try too hard to focus on it. Your food always seems pretty balanced even when you've been "naughty" you're already eating smaller portions of naughtiness. It's only a few days until you'll be starting afresh how much damage can you do in that amount of time? At least if you try it you might not feel as deprived and it could do you the world of good to not think about food for a bit cos we do don't we? When we're trying to lose weight we think about it all the time :/ I was tempted not to go tonight but I know that's a slippery slope so I'll take the disappointment of the nasty scales and horse features gloating and use it to motivate me to do better xx

I don't particularly want a big blow out even, just a few days of not counting, pointing or focusing on it! 1100-1200 is so restrictive! I'm pretty good during the day can stick to plan all day, just I get home and want to sit down eat and sleep lately, normally I'm on the go till bedtime! Think my body needs a couple of days to reset, I'm without the dogs for a few nights, so might do me some good - I do even tend to make good choices on the naughties!

Eurgh you're right, I'm sure dieters think of food so much that it becomes torture, I don't remember ever thinking about food this much before! I'll still WI, as you say, it's a slippery slope to forget it completely, but sometimes when life gets in the way counting on top of it is exhausting. Good luck tonight, I'm sure you'll do better than you think you will - all possible body parts crossed for you!

It does get a bit much though, counting whether it's cals or points or syns. It's all guilt when we eat too many of them and we need to be more in tune with our bodies. Have some rest, relax the cals and when you're ready you'll be back to good form and feeling better for a few days off. You know what you're doing and what you should/shouldn't be eating and like you said you're not planning a binge so do what is going to make you feel better. Where are the pooches? xx

Pooches are at the in-laws for a few days, miss them but needed a break and some sleep, will get them back Friday night or Saturday morning!
I'm 100% determined to be on track next week, that's how my brain works - I can't start mid-week or I get all in a tizzy, so Saturday will be exercise and good food after WI, possible gain but I don't really mind

It's better to do it the way you know works for you. Aww I bet you're missing them loads. Are you managing to sleep better now? xx

Slept well last night! Totally didn't want to get out of bed this morning for work but did sleep better, so that's good! :)

Yep a rested body and mind is a must. You can't do exercise when you're already exhausted! xx

Indeed! We're picking up boys Saturday around 11am, so hopefully I can get a level of Jillian in before that and they've kindly agreed to watch them Monday for us, so i intend to have a lazy morning in bed and then up and about for exercise, green shakes and green tea!

All sounding very good, you'll be raring to go with all the extra sleep. I love a lie in and usually in the summer holidays I can have loads but I've been up with Dai at 6.30 on weekdays. I'm sure it's down to being less sluggish now I'm not filling my body with rubbish every day xx

Welp, I'm back, changing my start day to today, but I forgot to WI this morning, so I'm going to guess and say 12:10 until I get chance to WI.

Plan for today:

Breakfast: Plum, Apple, Orange
Lunch: Organic nut butter and sugarless jam on toast and a banana
Snack: 35g raisins if I get peckish!
Dinner: Either cauliflower mac N cheese or satay stir fry, depending on what needs clearing in the fridge.

Boss is being lovely and letting me leave at 3:30pm today unofficially, so will have 3 hours till boy gets home, still not feeling 100% but am going to attempt some exercise!

Gotta love an early finish on a Friday! Don't go over doing it and making yourself feel rubbish again lovely. All your food sounds really yummy, could go for some of that toast right about now! xx

He does it quite a bit, so I'm lucky with my work, he's popped out for the morning to do some shopping so said I could leave to make up for it!
I'm going to stick to just cardio and some light Jillain exercises for today (squat boxing and dumbbell roes) anything that doesn't involve jumping or being on the floor! Doing my under desk work bike, aiming for 20 mins and some light squats whilst the office is empty! If I get enough done before 5 then i can have the hours I'd normally do it free for watching rubbish tele!

It's lovely, the jam tastes exactly the same but is sweetened with grape juice, it's about 1 third of the calories of normal jam, and the peanut butter is only 74 cals per tbsp, the Tesco one is 164!

Oosh that is a huge difference and it all adds up over a couple of slices. Your boss sounds like a good one has he ever caught you doing squats? lol xx

It does, especially when we make a satay sauce or something, the calories before were huge!
Ha fortunately not! he's only half my boss technically, my manager left and they never replaced him, so I don't really have one, and Gary manages production so he's in charge but not really, I kind of get to do what I like anyway!

It's nice being relaxed at work that's part of why I love being self employed. Come with winter nobody will care if I am in my onesie while I work because nobody can see me. I do miss the holiday pay though but not my old boss he was an idiot lol xx

It's odd, I both love and really hate it here, I like where I work but I really dislike my company, our Head office is in Manchester! It's nice being chilled and working with the people I do, and we;re not busy all the time so I can come on here and do a bit of my own stuff, but the company itself is awful! Though I have worn Pj's to work in the winter, which was lovely!! :p

All the other people I worked with were lovely and some of the customers were, I miss lots of people but I couldn't stay there with him being a total co*k womble and head office doing nothing about him even after we all complained about him. As happy as I am I'm always looking for other jobs, is that just me or is that what normal people do? xx

I think it's normal, people are always keeping their eyes peeled for something new! I'd love to work from home, though I think biscuits would get eaten far too often! Our MD is a complete CW, when I resign I'm going to write a lovely letter telling him what I think of him, he's one of those people who treats people like rubbish just because he can

I hate people like that it's so easy to just be nice. Working from home is like any other job it has it's good and bad points but ti works for me at the moment xx
