** Claire's low carb blah blah chit chat gabbing **

I went from blonde to dark last year. I used Nice n Easy semi permanent twice over about 4 weeksto try before you buy and it was good but I wash my hair every day so it washed out quite quickly. Then just before Crimbo I did it with their permanent one in rich mahogony. Both showed the different tones and I was happy with the result. I have decided to go back to blonde as the grey shows less but am having it done at a salon next Friday as I don't want to end up ginger!

Yes if you want tinsel coverage need to go to hairdressers really or you will need to dye every two weeks.
are you going for a completely different colour claire?

im cant go back blonde now :( hairdresser cut a bit out and tried it - went orange.... :(

Well I was light blonde as on my middle sig pic but nov went darker to my avatar pic tho that was a couple wks after. The hairdresser used a semi permanent to go darker n it's still fairly dark but lightening up also. Tempted to get a honey golden brown as once the sun's out it'll lighten again. Gonna have a look in a few mins. Meeting mum for a coffee in town shortly. She's also tempted to start doing it herself as she goes monthly which costs a lot. Mine costs more cos I have thick hair but I don't go as often as her. Just wanna save some cash but a little scared to do it myself

I've seen those highlight/lowlight kits you get in boots or superdrug and they look great first you dye all over then use the lighter/ darker dye to put some multi tonal bits in. I'd say give it a go.. Worst case scenario buy an extra box of a honey golden colour and do that all over if it comes out horrid.

I'm getting on well with low carbing. Not lost as much yet as I'd hoped or wanted but I've got just under a year to lose it for my wedding so I'm happy plodding on as I am and I feel so much better low carbing, no bloated feeling and waaaaay more alert. I've also been doing dry body brushing before my shower everyday and by god I've noticed a difference after just over a week, skin is smoother and more even tone and dare I say it, firmer! I'd recommend it.

Apologies - lemon and almond cake was posted by flutter a while ago - just found it again and have posted it on the recipes thread for you all :) I did not have quite enough almonds this time so I substituted some of the Q10 flax with nuts in and it is just as nice.

OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD.........................

Just put the colour on, it took me a sodding hour to choose in Superdrug!
