My pompoms are back in the namby pamby South, but they've been fortified with some good Northern air this week.

And they must have been not toooo far from you, twice in the week, as I trundled up, and then back down, the A1M. So let's hope that the closeness has a good effect.

Thankyou Jimbob !! Ive managed (dont know how....maybe it was the elastoplast over my gob) to stay faithfully on plan)

My sweet cravings have been satisfied by white choc options drinks & a penguin wafer which ive saved til my 8pm curfew...so Ive been under syn every day and been eating chicken NASTY FISH :eek: and loads of speed stuff *polish that halo*

If There is no loss tonight then the *week fairies are gonna get a kicking :mad:;)

Well I managed 0.5 lb off last night, which I was quite happy with seeing as *week is with me

Syns 1.5 oatso 2 choc options 6 hifi bar (new choc one nom nomnom) = 9.5

snacks fruit yog?

last night when My OH came to bed (I went to bed earlier to be away from the fridge

) I wouldnt let him get into bed and was shouting "no no you're going to squash it!" he tried again but I was pushing him away and he asked me what he was going to squash.......I told him it was a chocolate crumble from Asda & IT WAS MINE

Im just back from visiting the relatives....and I fear its been a not very SW friendly time in cantebury :cry::eek:

Its very hard when someone else is doing the cooking to stay on plan..... and even harder when a homemade chocolate & fudge cake with pouring cream is put in front of you :eek:, though the meal before it was 'fairly' good - a lovely roast dinner (but I did have roasties and proper gravy :eek:) AND it was washed down with a couple of bottles of 'real beer' from.....would you believe a bruges brewery ha ha.

soooooo Im not looking forward to WI tomorrow - :sigh: and I havent got a prayer of getting my shiney this week!! :p:rolleyes: Oh well it was nice to get away & meet another branch of the OH's family that I dont really know :)

I wanted to make a pan of DynoRod soup today for lunches next week- but empty head here forgot to get (most of) the ingredients :mad::copon:so I will have to talk really nicely to my OH tomorrow and see if he will call to Asda before/after golf ;)

What is Dyno Rod soup??? I am intrigued.

Tastes like Heinz veg soup....tis very lovely!!


Speed food Soup (syn free on Green and EE) makes a mahoooosive pan!! - freezes well

1 can mixed bean salad
1 can green lentils (or handful of dried)
2 cans chopped tomatoes
1 can baked beans
Handful of split lentils
2 large leeks
1 large onion
4 medium carrots
2 parsnips
1 each green, red and yellow peppers
2 vegetable stock cubes
Salt pepper
Mixed herbs
Water (enough to cover all ingredients)
Chop all vegetables. Put them and everything else into a large pan, cover with water, bring to boil and simmer until vegetables are soft (about 30 mins). Once cooked, the soup can be left chunky or blended smooth.
