I do, but I haven't driven since being in London.. It's very scary to drive here...

Morning..............my mil is very Hyacinth!!!!! and apparently she is known by that name by the rest of the family............behind her back I hasten to add!!! :giggle: I still feel I'm not worthy ..................but do I care..............no!!!

Mind you when she licks her knife it sort of lets down the illusion :8855: (pet hate ofmine especially when my sil licked her knife and stuck it back in the butter..........eeewwww)

I tried, but when they don't want to meet you for 7 years coz your divorced, older and got 3 children then I don't feel I have to make too much of an effort tbh.

They are in Banff an hour north of Aberdeen and takes 10 hours to get there so thankfully we don't pop round often. OH makes a weekly phone call and I refuse to spk now..................got nothing to say!!! Thats me putting my foot down.................its easy when they are not around. :giggle:

I pmsl over throw in a random fart or two and lower the tone, but they do that already so I would be joining them and they may think that I have endeared myself to them..................rather no!!!!!!

Not saying I'm perfect, but I'm almost there..........................:8855:

I don't actually believe in making an effort to 'fit in' with anyone as it goes Lolly. If folks can't take me as I am, they are more than welcome to leave me alone lol Life is too short and too hard at times to waste it on futile/fake efforts. Sounds like she (MIL) decided she didn't like you before she even bothered to get to know you. Her loss and good riddance I say Big :bliss: that she's over 10 hours away too :giggle: My ex-outlaws were 180 miles away, and that suited me fine.........10 hours would have been perfect though! lol

Today I'm making Rozie Kebabs, Emmey mini quiches, BBQ chicken, sweet and sour (fanta) pork and quorn chilli (red version-no beans) That'll give me a head start on meals for the week

I had them for tea last night Rozie They were soooooo delish :drool: Gonna have them again on my next green day.......or maybe even Hexb a spud and have some with dinner one red night

I only need to cook one meal today for next week.. Thankfully I have stuff in the freezer for my lunches for the week. Very organised lol

Any more ideas.....? Hmmm mum makes this amazing flat bread made with onions, coriander, and other stuff in it.. It's made from gram flour so will find out how much she puts in it to see how many syns it would be... It's made with loadsssss of butter but we can just take that out. It's so delicious... I'll take pictures of it when she makes it.
