I'm doing Race for Life in July and I start week 9 tmrw of couch to 5k. I was nearly 15 stone when I started and for all I used to go to the gym and do 4-5 exercise classes a week this absolutely floored me at first!!
Every week I get more confidence and I have the running bug!! If only I could control the eating too lol. Anyway, i've lost 6lbs in 2 weeks of joining slimming world so it's all good
Once I get to the end of week 9 I'll be working on improving my running time!!
Couch to 5k has quite literally changed me life!! My legs are changing shape I feel fitter than ever (even tho I'm still obese) and I feel if I an do this I can do anything!!!
So for all you ppl on Week 1 I can tell you it gets easier even though it feels like you're going to collapse in the first few weeks!!
I have about 4 stone to lose so yr motivation tips are important and the support from this forum and staying to image therapy class!!
We can do this!! We can lose weight!!! xxx
