Elf has to be one of the best go to Christmas films!!

I love Fred Claus too, and Miracle on 34th Street, and Nightmare before Christmas. Actually I just love them all! haha
Going out tonight to do a big food shop with a few small treats but trying to be good as much as possible!

Hey everyone love all those Christmas films too, love Elf but have to say my all time favourite is Scrooge with Albert Finney...love it to death.
Cinta the Christmas movie channel on Sky is 327 and 328 try it and see, not sure if you get it without the movie channels though.
Was going to finish my Food shop tonight but wages have been delayed till tomorrow and now have guests all day so can't actually finish it till either really late tomorrow night or Friday Morning :cry:
Am feeling really Christmassy, can't wait :109: lol
Oh and ty for the lovely comments, think I lost this week cos I finally seem to have my steroids under control and I was determined that whatever I ate that was naughty I was going to put in extra time exercising to make up for it lol...and it worked phew lol xxxxxxx
P.S. Had a bit of cheese from the cheeseboard and some crackers left from christmas buffet night...not anymore so bang goes that 1.5lb :giggle: xxxxx

It's my last day at work today.... Thank goodness! Still feeling poorly, so hopefully 2 days of rest will get be better!

wtg Mandy, Christmas week and you lost that's amazing in itself, so much temptation out there, just shows we have stronger willpower than we think and 16lbs is a fab achievement...I didn't reach my target either but I didn't expect to, I just used it as a guide to what I would have liked to lose, any loss is fantastic, all going in the right direction :bighug:...have a lovely day hun xxxxxx

Thank you so much my friends. I joined this challenge a bit late but enjoyed all the banter and support from you lovely bunch. I smashed my target tonight losing a further 3lbs making a total since October of 31.5 lbs. I am sticking to plan til Christmas Eve then a week off plan to set me up for the next challenge- Bring it on!

sorry ive not been around much- work has been so manic!
2x 12 hour shifts in the last 2 days....
tomorrow i'm in asda 9-4 then the off licence 5-10
then on saturday it's 8-3.30 and 5-10
my back is in agony and my shoulder's not much better! as well as a lot of pressure in work, since everyone is going absolutely mental with their shopping. seriously- the shop is shut for one frigging day- i struggle to see what the stress is all about.
and i cried- while at the checkout- because a woman wanted me to change a £20 note that i gave her (it was a scottish note) and i had closed the till. i had to wait for someone to open the till, meaning more and more people were queuing up....
*sigh*
im ready to go back down to 10 hours a week- i dont think im mentally ready for a full time job
