Jo, no no no! Just wondering where peeps were and if they are ok:D

Ok so these are the ones I'm not sure about:

carriebrad
Eyden Hainsworth
JackieN
LoChan1984
Lollypop1985
missjlouise

I know that Jackie, Lolly and Lo are still around but can't see them posting on this thread in a while?

I'm sure Lolly will be back. :)

Sorry if I'm mistaken but I only went back a few pages.

Eyden Hainsworth is Katie, she'll be back for def! Also Jackie and Lo, altho they might not have posted, are 3 of my original curvies so THEY ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE either!! No idea about the others tho, as I only know the ladies I brought into my thread in the first place!!! xx

I never said they were going anywhere! I just said they haven't posted in ages on THIS thread. That's all.

Jo, I think you misunderstand, I was only enquiring after these peeps and hoping they were ok, thats all. I wasnt anything at all about people leaving, staying or otherwise it was simply enquiring after peeps :wavey:

What I was wondering if any of these peeps had diaries so we could invite them back to the thread as they may not know the new challenge has started but I'm not sure now as asking after peeps seems to have caused a misunderstanding:cry:

Don't know if that was aimed at me or t'other Jo! If people don't post after accepting a challenge that's their problem not mine! Cinta and I set this thread up for us to have our own challenge and invited people to join us! People have come and gone-never to be seen again, but some people have come and then been a little bit distracted by the wayside-and will eventually return! We can probably figure out who they are ourselves! I'm not going to go chasing people up, but if you want to, then go-ahead!! :) x

:wavey: hello sweetie. I have a diary and you are welcome there anytime. I do have two at the minute :giggle: I was doing sw but then i've decided to give slimpods a proper go in 2012 as they have pretty much worked their magic and I am hoping I will now start to lose weight on them :D fingers crossed

I shall be keeping an eye to see how you are all doing as many of you are now my friends and no way do I want to lose that just because I am not doing sw at the moment. I often use sw recipes and try to do it roughly but with slimpods its about teaching us to eat normally so I can't always totally stick to plan.

Just wanted to explain as I have made some amazing friends on here who mean the world to me and I want to keep each and every one of them :D xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey everyone, incase I don't get a chance to get on here before the big party, Happy New Year :new_year:, may we all have the best year yet for weight loss, so bring on 2012, we're ready :bighug: to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Girls I have been having a few problems recently but I am hoping to be back on plan very soon. I sometimes find it hard as we have a very limited budget and healthy food is not cheap. I have to buy food for the 3 of us and cant always justify buying the leanest meat or off season fruit and veg. But I am going to get my thinking cap on and try and work out a way of feeding us all and still stay on plan. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I think things like porrage for brekkie would be a staple, the big bags of oats are very cheap.

I made a lovely fish pie out of boil in the bag value fish in tesco freezer section.

Farm foods do fantastic meat offers and milk is very cheap there.

Sainsbury do a 3 for £10 meat offer and included is large extra lean mince and family sized chickens.

Soup is very cheap to make.

Pasta dishes make things stretch further.

Eggs in the big trays work out good value and I use them for the SW quiches and dry fry off frozen onions and peppers ( tesco frozen diced onions are 90p and so are the frozen peppers, with value ham and cottage cheese that would make a fair few quiches.

My local butcher does a value pack where you get certain amounts of things like mince, chops etc and that can be very good value.

Casserole veg is very cheap and added to chicken thighs and a packet cook in sauce makes a really filling hearty meal for really very few syns.

another thought. I used half a pack of the sainsbury el mince and made a lovely chilli con carne with kidney beans, toms and chilli and served with rice, thats as cheap as chips and served 4 of us.

I find green days are way cheaper. Or even EE ( veggie pasta using cheap tinned tomatoes as your superfree )

Beat me to it, lots there that I would have said , off the top of my head can't think of anything to add, but I have an extensive recipe list (all sw friendly some original and some converted) and sunday I will have a good look through xxxxx
