I know that Jackie, Lolly and Lo are still around but can't see them posting on this thread in a while?
I'm sure Lolly will be back.
Sorry if I'm mistaken but I only went back a few pages.

JackieN said::wavey: hello sweetie. I have a diary and you are welcome there anytime. I do have two at the minute :giggle: I was doing sw but then i've decided to give slimpods a proper go in 2012 as they have pretty much worked their magic and I am hoping I will now start to lose weight on them fingers crossed
I shall be keeping an eye to see how you are all doing as many of you are now my friends and no way do I want to lose that just because I am not doing sw at the moment. I often use sw recipes and try to do it roughly but with slimpods its about teaching us to eat normally so I can't always totally stick to plan.
Just wanted to explain as I have made some amazing friends on here who mean the world to me and I want to keep each and every one of them xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

sorry it's been a tough time for you xMrs E-H said:Hi Girls I have been having a few problems recently but I am hoping to be back on plan very soon. I sometimes find it hard as we have a very limited budget and healthy food is not cheap. I have to buy food for the 3 of us and cant always justify buying the leanest meat or off season fruit and veg. But I am going to get my thinking cap on and try and work out a way of feeding us all and still stay on plan. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I think things like porrage for brekkie would be a staple, the big bags of oats are very cheap.
I made a lovely fish pie out of boil in the bag value fish in tesco freezer section.
Farm foods do fantastic meat offers and milk is very cheap there.
Sainsbury do a 3 for £10 meat offer and included is large extra lean mince and family sized chickens.
Soup is very cheap to make.
Pasta dishes make things stretch further.
Eggs in the big trays work out good value and I use them for the SW quiches and dry fry off frozen onions and peppers ( tesco frozen diced onions are 90p and so are the frozen peppers, with value ham and cottage cheese that would make a fair few quiches.
My local butcher does a value pack where you get certain amounts of things like mince, chops etc and that can be very good value.
Casserole veg is very cheap and added to chicken thighs and a packet cook in sauce makes a really filling hearty meal for really very few syns.
