Just thought I would clarify I can not sing a note as much as I try, I think quite often after an afternoon of kareoke along to the radio my colleagues have been ready to throttle me!

Would always have liked to have been able to sing though and all u ladies with great voices should take the opportunity to get ya selves out there. I would definitely vote for u

Ha ha!! Don't worry-sometimes I'd forget my head if it wasn't screwed on
Been singing since the age of about 8/9, I started of in the youth theatre junior group and progressed through I had singing lessons for a few years, and also played the clarinet and flute since I was 8, so that helped with the breathing techniques. We had private music lessons in school too as I went to a horrid private school so it was on the regular timetable
Since I left school I've mainly just done small gigs like weddings and dinners and stuff and entered a few competitions, but seem to only get to the 3rd round in all I've entered so far-it's a bit of a barrier!!! Have also got an audition for The Voice on nov 19th but I'm going to cancel it as I'm not in the right place at the moment to do something like that-plus the financial implications of just getting to the auditions!! My music genre of choice would be MT(musical theatre) however I will turn my hand to most things.
Mainly tho, for the last 13 years, up until last summer-i have been the lead soloist in a show group. We did and have toured with it aswell! We've sung all over Europe, raising money for charity-but the moat exciting was when we got asked to sing for the army(welsh guards I think)at Episkopi, which is the army base on Cyprus-that was an amazing experience and one I will never forget
I hope to get back into it this next season as I do miss my singing xx

Maybe you I'll feel differently about the audition next week, can you leave cancelling it for a few weeks? You have lots going on with your new job

I know I'm not going to go-it was a whim decision to enter, and with hindsight I shouldn't have done! Like you say, I've got lots going on, so am going to leave it. I probably wouldn't get past the 3rd round anyway lol, so it wouldn't be worth taking the time off work!! Ha ha!! xx

Morning everyone

Well not much to report from me this week!!! Sts on the scales today after my 4lbs loss last week.

Am a little disappointed as I really wanted to see a 15 on the scales today!! Will just put 150% into the comin week to see that 15 before I go on holidays next week!

Morning all, and good luck to all my fellow Tuesday weighers, am hoping to shift a big lump of that 6lb gain from last week, so fingers crossed.
Well done on sts hoping, at least you didn't gain, I know it's disappointing not to see any kind of loss when you've worked so hard, but as Lisa said it's not all about those numbers, have you checked your measurements lately, I did mine after my gain last week and it made me feel fabulous that I could say I have lost over 90 inches off my body, I know you will have a good week this week coming :bighug: ...have a great day all and cya tonight xxxxxxxx

Thats my next Target but I have a long way to go yet I would be happy to break the 21 barrier its driving me mad. I am so near yet so far.Just when I think I may be there life happens and ruins it. We will get there though Jo and it will be even better when we do

Hoping, the weigh in before last, I lost a pound and was gutted as I had been 100 percent. The following week I lost 5lb so hold on and be sure it will show next week.
