Hi guys, Hows everyone going?? Hows the weather over there?? Its nice here but too hot at night, NOT that I can complain with what QLD is going through, So so sad :( I couldnt imagine losing every thing I owned , Poor people!! and with people missing and children dying so sad and depressing.
Bad news is mum cant get to her hospital app to see when the kidneys coming out so yet AGAIN delayed :( but I really believe in Things happen for a reason.........

Hi Guys, Im back :) Kids back at school so Im back on Dukan and feel so much better for it!
Missed you all :) Hope everyones going well and HI to the newbies.
Weather here ATM is killing me yesterday, today and for the next week we are hitting the 40's and my aircon is not managing it very well!! neither am I, 3 showers a day....lol.
Ok have a real estate agent coming to let me know if my house has gone up so best go and finish off cleaning,

ooooh Vickki - I forgot all about the Daily Chat, as have many I see... we used to pop in here at least, even when busy at work, for a natter...

Good place to get some life again in the site. I don't know whether lots of people have lost their January mojo, but it's certainly gone quiet...

Mousy no date for mum yet, They keep changing their minds and with the cyclone had to cancel surgery as other patience had to be moved in there from the cyclone areas :( Shes getting really depressed its so sad, I know if I had cancer living in me I too would want it out ASAP, So now its 5mths waiting, Im sure everything happens for a reason and when its time it will get done :) Hopefully very soon.

Yeah jo I had the lose of my January mojo...lol but Feb's looking good :)

Hope you guys are all well, and YES keep jumping on daily chat, Im too lazy to go through diaries.... but think I better start again too :)

So sorry your Mum hasn't got a date, so difficult for you all. Such terrible freak weather in Australia just now too:(.

Glad you're back on plan and focused and great that the kids are back at school (the last week of the summer holidays here is HARD, imagine it is for you too).
 
Absolutely ref the weather in Australia... (and of course the support for your Mum).

It's true that this used to be a good place for nattering about everything BUT diets... but most of us forget to come here now that the Diary section is open.

Yesterday, though, one of the regular newcomers mentioned that she needed 50 posts to be allowed to open a diary, so it's good to keep this nattering going to enable those regular newcomers to open their diaries and join us regularly.
 
Hello from me too. Yes threads with no discussion drop to the bottom of the list and get forgotten about...

Nothing to report here - it's mild and WINDY but I managed a good night's sleep thanks to Earplugs - the wind usually keeps me awake, we sleep in the loft.

Gosh re earplugs. If ever I put them in (thanks to noisy overhead neighbours), I lie there listening to myself breathing!!

As for sleeping "in the loft", I'm now picturing you climbing up a ladder to get there ;)

We're just melted in ours!! Thank god tomorrow the temps going to drop, Anyone heard from Bren?? How did she go with the flash floodings in Melbourne?? Think my brother got it. Yes very very strange weather.
My friends went up to Fingal bay for a holiday and they had a very strange experience. Her dad ended up disloctaing his arm in the water...... They were swimming then all of a sudden the water (Between the flags!) went out for miles then just came crashing back, Like a tsunami and got her dad and another man headed up being taken away as he got pushed back onto his head and dumped. She said it was very eerie and even the lifesavers had never seen anything like it, There has been a few here in the past weeks, Just freek underwater rips and waves,
How spooky , God whats going on with the world today?
Not sure what Im up to this morning, Its still to muggy to do anything but NOTHING like yesterday....

Not sure where to post now, no diary!

Anyway, had a great weekend with friends, walks by the river, hot sunshine the whole weekend, unfortunately we are now all loaded with colds (was -2° a few days ago and 18° this weekend so not surprising) and wish the weather would stay constant for a couple of weeks, all these temperature variations are playing havoc with our health. Youngest is off school, had a rough night, bless him.

Hope everyone's OK, must go and see to lunch. Will catch up on diaries later.
 
I'm just the same, Robin... My "dose" is distinctly blocked and I'm sitting here with a fan on cos it's so warm in the office with the sun on the huge windows!

Vickki - it's true that Australia really does get some freakish weather!

Hello *waves* just a quick sign of life. Had a good if fairly indoory weekend (still blowing a gale) and been good food-wise too.

Busy Monday, DD2 just watching TV, knackered from much cycling and swimming and DD1 is home from school, upstairs, reading no doubt. Me: making the tea which consists of home-made healthy baked beans with WM pasta and one proper grilled sausage for me (=normal meal).
 
Morning and night all, Yeap such wierd weather everywhere, Hope you all get over your colds :) We are nice and cool here now, My BFF is sick as a dog with the flu, Must have been from going too hot 43 degress to 20 something so fast, Poor wee munchkin!

Dukan is going well FINALLY got into my 80's!!
Kids at school, Just bathed the puppies much to the disgust!! Won tickets to go and see a show Mulan on Thursday night so might just do that!
