Been for a 15 minute bike ride with the OH,he doesn't want to go out on the bikes for a few days as his bum hurts(big Jessie) so I might do some days on my own :0)

I live out in the sticks as well..to start with it will be purely exercise I think but I do like your idea of stopping and having a read.Me and the OH stop sometimes and enjoy the view!

I'm gonna buy a bike I think! I wonder if I can get a cheap second hand one somewhere saying that by time my sons back at skool it'll be turning winter!! And my hours at work will make it abit impossible, but I may still get a bike! It's quicker than walking!! Xxx

Yea there's always cheap second hand ones floating about.I used to cycle in the snow..go for it ;0)
