Lol the primary school used to be pretty strict! Think they are all more likely to shut now! I wouldn't cycle in the snow now though, that much I do know lol..unless it was only a little bit..then maybe lol

*Marianne* said:Cycling in the snow would be terrifying! I cycled over black ice once, it didn't end well! Luckily I wasn't going fast or on a road. All this talk of cycling is making me want to dust the bike off, Daisy! Hope you had a good day.

Thanks about my food,I either use Quorn mince or turkey. That sure was a good bargain you got! Bulk that out nicely and you're laughing ;0)
Thanks Hun,it's tomorrow, totm so not expecting much but that's ok :0)
moonwatcher said:Yeah, it's definitely worth a trip for us every so often. Have had quite a few of the Turkey Escalopes from there - packs of two or three for 50p/75p. One year we got a Sainsbury's Turkey Crown with stuffing, for Christmas - was a fiver, retailed at £25! Mentioned to someone that we had been there and she announced that she would 'never buy Bernard Matthews stuff' - she got all her meat from Sainsbury's. Um, hello love - they produce stuff for most of the big supermarkets, it just has a supermarket label on it! This crown had a Sainsbury's Taste the Difference label on it!
moonwatcher said:Oh yeah - today is Thursday isn't it? Don't know why but I was thinking it was Friday already!
Wow what a good price for the escalopes and the turkey crown ..well worth a trip there! Haha bout that woman! Maybe she has money to burn ;0) lol
moonwatcher said:Yep - I hate snobbery! I was in a couldn't be bothered mood, so I just said 'Really? Might be worth finding out exactly who produces their meat though!' and left it at that. On a less mellow day I would probably have saved the wrapper to show her!
