Day 1 tomorrow

I'm definitely out of ketosis now, I'm actually feeling hunger, something I haven't felt since I started Cambridge really. But the reintroduction of carbs even in the small amounts I'm having definitely has that effect. Having said that, it's not unbearable and I don't feel deprived or particularly like I'm struggling but I think it's good to know that you're hungry but can be satisfied by a good meal without the rubbish in it. So tonight I'll be having chicken with a little whole meal pasta and veg. To make it interesting I'll bake it in the oven for a bit to get a crispy top!

Add half a chicken and mush soup and you have yourself a really nice pasta bake there!

Not being in ketosis + food = cold sweats for me!

At least you ate managing it all hun. Try those maggi so tender they're ok to have and make a huge difference to meat. Jays obsessed with them now lol xx

I was really scared of coming out of ketosis. In step 2 you have to make the right decisions to make sure you stay in ketosis. But now that I have fruit everyday and know if I get snackish I can grab a handful of strawberries I feel fine about it. I pre weigh my fruit for the day so I can just grab it!

That's a good idea! I'll be turning to you if I ever make it into step 3!

Feeling really disillusioned today :( just don't feel like I've lost a pound and it's really shaken me. There were photos from the wedding plastered all over fb and it's just made me really unhappy with my image :(

Hang on in there Lizz once u see movement in scales u will feel better and u look great believe me. You've had a lot of stressed this last few days and it all arches up with u hun.
That's why I do my daily weigh to keep me focused and so I can see the work it's doing.
I'm about 2 stone 7lb away from step 3 so will defo be asking Tigg for help lol.

Now we've only seen a couple of pics of you Lizz. But you look great. I think if you've been bigger you sort of struggle with seeing yourself as you really are rather than as you were. Sometimes we all feel like we haven't lost anything but it's usually water or bloat (or in Ian's case a poo) but it'll pass and you'll feel great again.

If step 3 goes well then I will be sure to let you know what I've been doing. You'll both be doing this in no time. Got to say even now I still feel like I am eating loads. But I'm following it all exactly.

Brill do you travel thurs? Day before me? Thurs night for me and then back to her the Monday after I get back so a couple of says I can ss before bext weigh x
 
Well today I will have drank 4.5 litres of water plus my shake water. OMG if I'm not up peeing all night then I'm bound to see a gain in the morning with all this liquid. It's helped tho I'm not going to lie. Xx
 
Yes I travel Thursday about midday. Then I'm back on the following Wednesday so I'll have my next weigh in on the following Thursday. I'm really hoping to at least stay the same. I'm oddly worried I'll put weight on despite knowing that I'm still only having 1000 calories a day!!!
 
Well today I will have drank 4.5 litres of water plus my shake water. OMG if I'm not up peeing all night then I'm bound to see a gain in the morning with all this liquid. It's helped tho I'm not going to lie. Xx

Well done on all the water. I managed about 3 litres today plus whatever was in my food. I still get up during the night. Hubby has gotten used to it now!

I get up in the night at least once or twice without drinking much at all lol. I need to practise as CDC said I need 6 litres a day abroad inc shakes so that's going to 5.2 litres OMG but will be 30 degrees plus.
I know what you mean as to us 1000 cals sounds so much especially when some of us are on 450 a day but in the real world it's still low is a 1000 so don't dwell and remember you will have some retaining from flight too. I must I buy flight socks actually or my feet and legs will balloon xx

Ah flight socks, guaranteed to turn anyone off completely. Hate them but they are essential really.

6 litres!! I hope you're taking one of those SheePee things with you or staying very close to a loo!?! I couldn't manage that much water!

I will be mostly around our private pool. Strange but I find I'm almost getting used to the water now as I have 3.25 litres minimum plus shake water and mostly a bit more than that but not as desperate to go all the time. Xx

i need to poo!!!!! I just don't actually want one. It's like it's disappeared this week. I don't want to use laxatives either.

Hopefully we shall both feel normal tomorrow lol. I've avoided the extra product or lettuce leaves but would love some lol x

Now that's true. You def won't have time or tummy space to eat with all that water in you!
