Day Number One!

its hard isnt it? esp when living with other people. i will try just a smaller version and see how it goes. if i get a nice toilet trip i know to avoid it in future. guess its all about trial and error

Yeah he's set on take away..I was thinking a bit of boiled rice with tofu and mixed veg...Would that be ok? Ergh. I dont want to give in this soon but..It sounds soo good...Ugh. I'm going to try it and see how it goes down...
 
Hope your feeling better soon Susie! I've recovered enough today to make it out for a meal with friends. We are going to an Indian, but I've checked out the menu and its going to be no starter and a dry cooked chicken with peppers and onions and green salad and sauce on the side for me. I'll be drooling over their curries/bahjis/naans/puris etc though. :cry: Hopefully the curry will sweat out the rest of my germs!!

Well it was really good!! We'll see how it goes down with the tummy..hehe..I feel bad for eating it though...Lol.
 
Hi Binny! Well done on your first day yesterday, I know you were really looking forward to getting started :D I'm on day 3 now and I've had no side effects yet. My flatmate is cooking a thai green curry tonight so I don't know if I'll have the effects from that, but I'm not missing out on it as I've never tried it before lol.

I guess I'm quite lucky cos my flatmate has decided to join me on my new diet, so we're both supporting each other and we've banned take aways in our flat. She's not taking Xenical, she's not big enough, but it's really good that she's helping me out. I don't think I could cope if she ordered a take away and I couldn't have anything, I'd definitely cave in! But I'm feeling good at the minute so I don't think I'll be caving any time soon :)

When is your first weigh in? I'm excited to see how we all get on in our first week :)
 
Yeah, I'm excited too! My first weigh in is the Thursday after next...so just less then 2 weeks time since I got it perscribed on Thurs. So excited, not going to peak until I go in. Deffinately looking forward to hearing my own weight loss if any and all of yours aswell...and I know! thats how I feel...I caved..but it's not like I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls in batter and egg fried rice and noodles and all that...Just boiled rice with some tofu and veg..Lol..Thai curry sounds good and that's really nice of your flatmate to support you and do it with you...Hubby says he'd support which he is...sort of. Lol. x
 
i got just under 3 weeks till my first weigh in. so long to wait but hoping for good results. got to try and have evening meal a bit earlier thou. 8pm is seeming a bit late. been so good so far but my mid afternoon snack seems to be getting bigger lol according to the myfitnesspal thing thou i have only had a complete total of 15g of fat all day so really pleased with that :D

well done to everyone on another successful day :D
 
Ergh..yeah if I had to wait 3 weeks I'd sneak a peak..I think 2 weeks is long enough. Lol. 8pm isn't too late depending on what time you go to sleep I suppose. My mom use to always tell me that I couldn't eat no later then 3 hours before bed. Recently I've tried to keep tea before 7..like 6 ish..or something. Lol...Aww, yeah well done to you and everyone else aswell..Hehe..Looking forward to tomorrow. :)
 
im a night owl and never sleep before 3am :( no matter what time i get up in the morning its always the same. going to start my exercise (well walking) on monday :D
 
Oh sheesh..Lol. I think 8pm's alright then. Haha. Yeah walking would be good..You could always try something late at night aswell. That's usually when I do my bike. I try to do a bit after breakfast but usually can't be bothered..but I use to always do about 45minutes at night then take a shower and go to bed..You could try umm..yoga or stretching..or some sort of weight lifting if you wanted to invest in weights...or something along those lines..It's funny I keep giving advice that I'd like to do myself but never get around too. LOL. Oh well..
 
im just as bad lol good at giving the advice but never take it myself lol for as long as i can remember i have always been a night owl. i do find myself just walking around the house for about 15-20 mins at night doing nothing lol guess it all helps doesnt it? have been looking at steepers and exercise bikes but funds a bit tight at the moment
 
Yeah, I wanted a bike for ages and finally got one from my mother in law..Lucky she had one just sat in the attick! I've also wanted a 6 second abs! Lol. Dont know if you've seen the commercials, but they're very persuasive..Haha..and an abs lounger. Ergh, but again, same as you..silly funds!
 
the ab clicky thing? sure i have seen it online somewhere for a good reasonable price. cant think where thou :doh:
 
I saw an abs lounger on ebay for really cheap with a 6 seconds abs for free but at the time I didn't have enough in my pay pal and by the time I transfered it, it auction thingy was finished...Ergh. Oh well. I'll keep looking.

Lol thanks...Hubby says I shouldn't waste my money. He thinks it's more for people without big bellies that just want their abs more defined...but it did say to loose weight. I don't know. What do you think??
 
i would say if its something you really want and you think you will get the benefit from it then go for it :D i am looking around for a good exercise bike at the moment
 
Hello, sounds like you have had another good day mrs. I'm guessing the tofu veg and rice will be fine so i wouldnt worry too much!! Its all healthy.

I was desperate for my exercise back that my hubby got me, but only used it a few times oops :D, i will get on it again..

Sallouise have you really only had 15g fat today??
They actually say now it doesnt matter what time you eat at night, its what you eat throughout the day, i sometimes have a snack about half 9 or 10!!

Are you finding it easier now your on day 2 binny??
 
Yeah it wasn't too bad I just find myself wanting things that I'm use to eating. Like, I'm not hungry...but I think I should eat because that's what I normally do..because I'm bored my mom would say. Lol. I used the bike every night up until maybe 2 weeks ago..I was soo busy as I've just gotten married, on the 12th. So I was walking around loads buying things and organizing and what not and didn't have time..Now I just haven't gotten around to it...but tomorrow..without a doubt..I shall be on it. Haha..Hopefully. :)
