Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

How about buying her some seasonal fruit strawberries, cherries etc? I find people like that as a good impromptu gift at this time of year...xx

Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

Well, I had a lovely day yesterday,
Drive out to Maldon, a couple of pints by the river, drove home via Battlesbridge (antique centre) and another cold pint in the sunshine, an early dinner at Wagamamas, one of my fave places to eat, a nice Japanese fusion place, them home for some strawberries and cream, then out a bit later to a local pub that we didn't have to drive to.

A great day out, but with the week I've had, I'm not going to be at target tonight when I get weighed.....ho hum, never mind

Hope you're all having a good day

Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

Well, after a lie-in, washing done and a food shop, well little food I spent 40 on coffee!!
Mind, I had planned that, Lidl were doing Kenco blue at 4 instead of 6:38 so I bought 10 jars (should keep me going for a while, I drink loads)

As suspected WI saw a gain.....4 flipping pounds, but as I said, I've had a week of it, out almost every day, I've been on strawberries and cream instead of yogurt, a fresh cream doughnut, more chocolate than I normally eat in a month and loads of cider - so, deserved and expected, anyway, tomorrow is a new week...get that off in a couple of weeks
So, I'm still in target range, 2lb over, oh well

I double took at that until I realised why you had spent so much on coffee...xx

Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

Fri 12Jul - Green

Well, what a day, up early, we picked up Kens trailer, chainsaw, ladder and all of the other associated gear and cut down a tree - it was about 40' high, and took us 8 hours to fell, chop-up, bundle and dispose of, well, we still have 1 trailer load to empty (it's a big 8' x 4' trailer)
So, loads of BM, no stopping for breakfast and lunch, so after getting home, showering and cooking I really enjoyed my dinner, bearing in mind I've had only black coffee, water and diet drinks for 46 hours, I really, REALLY enjoyed it

Dinner: LM rosemary /red onion sausages, mash, onions, mushrooms, baked beans, peas // cherries
Supper: hi-fi light rocky road, lemon Alpen light

The peas were some I picked from a local field, so fresh, sweet and tasty

We didn't go out tonight, a) after dinner it was getting late, b) we'll be out tomorrow, c) too flipping tired

So, no syns today, will have some over the weekend, I think proper fish and chips are on the horizon, Planning a few days away in the caravan somewhere

Have a good weekend everyone

Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

Up early, coffee in bed at 5:30... Stayed there for an hour or so reading, ironing already done
Decided to beware and caring, Ken had a bit of a lie-in, he's been working hard recently, so I went and bought the newspaper, and when I heard him stir, took it up with another coffee and told him to relax.
He's now up, and out, gonna empty the last trailer load, then whilst he's doing that, I'm sorting the stuff we need for a couple if days away.
Might not be on here if Internet is poor

Have a good one everybody
