I'm so sorry I haven't been around so far this week, my mum wasn't up to having my cousin stay at her house so they stayed here with us and we've been doing loads of day trips etc, and by the end of the day I've just collapsed on the sofa :giggle: They only went home last night, so I made the most of having a few hours peace and had a nice long soak in the bath and an early night :D

I haven't been on plan whatsoever, so I'm going to be doing some damage limitation over the next few days and will be keeping everything crossed for a sts on monday, and even if it's a small gain, I can soon be rid of it. The odd thing is though, that we'd go shopping at night to get some munchies for while we watched films and I was actually quite held back. I'm not sure how to explain it proper. Before I started sw if I'd gone to morrisons for things to munch on while watching a film, I'd have come away with chocolate, crisps, cakes - this week I've been grabbing lychees, watermelon, coconut cake bites and the milky bar dessert pots, and I think that's a really big thing for me.

I've been trying to plan food for today and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction with something? I want to have some ryvita with chocolate philadelphia tonight as I snack, but on my information pack it says that 2 ryvitas are a hexb and super speed, but then underneath it says 4 are a hexb but not a super speed. I'm proper confused :giggle:

Brekkie - lychees, watermelon, grapes
Snack - banana, muller light greek (0.5 syns)
Lunch - cous cous (1.5 syns)
Snack - muller light greek (0.5 syns)
Dinner - chicken, tomato and cucumber
Snack - 2 babybel (hexa), ryvita (not sure how many yet) and chocolate philadelphia (4.5 syns), glass of tropical fruit juice (6.5 syns)
Syns - 13.5
 
Yay, you're back!! :) Sounds like things have been mega hectic, but it's good to know that everythings okay.

Don't worry about not being on plan, aslong as you enjoyed yourself. Plus, what a NSV regarding the snacks - that's brilliant!

Oooh, that ryvita thing got mentioned at group a few weeks ago. It's quite baffling isn't it. I think it's entirely up to you - if you are particularly trying to speed up your weight loss, go for the two. If not, go for the four. I'd go for the four, for me the thought of having 4 rather than 2 is more appealing - I think in 'quantities'. Still think this is quite confusing though.

Ok still not had breakfast as I just haven't felt hungry, going to make myself have some of the planned fruit in a bit so that I don't get picky and make bad choices.

I forgot to add that I spent the weekend on ebay bidding on sw books and bought a spice rack for the kitchen, so I'm really going to be going for it with cooking. So far I have the 100 original recipes, 100 green recipes, the extra easy christmas book and the curries book :D

I'm having a bit of a wobble about the maxi dresses that I've got for turkey, I keep thinking they cling to my tummy way too much, so I'm thinking of rolling them down to my hips and wearing them as a skirt with a black vest top over them.

I'm also thinking about food while we're over there. I know I won't be able to control syns, but I want to try and stay as on plan as I possibly can because I really don't want to come back and be right back at square one, because I know full well it'll completely put me off getting back on it. I'm also trying to think of things to take in my hand luggage for take off and landing to help with the popping ears. I was thinking sugar free mints and chewing gum? Would that work?

I've just ordered some razzles, sugar free jolly ranchers and some sugar free bubblegum flavour mints :D Going to put them in my carry on bag as soon as it arrives (I ordered my first ever hand bag yesterday, how sad is that?) and shut it away in the spare bedroom so I don't start picking at them :giggle:

2 weeks and 6 days until we fly out and 1 week and 3 days until we go shopping in manchester, soooooo excited :woohoo:

:eek: that means I REALLY need to start packing next week as we go to Chris' mum and dad's a week on sunday and will be leaving the cases there. Does it sound bad that I'm making Chris have the toiletries in his bag so that I can take more clothes in mine? :giggle:

Hi hun, it's up to 4 Ryvita for a HexB or 2 for superspeed but 2 would still count as a HexB, you can have 4 for a fibre boost basically, does that make sense? Me and Toni had the same discussion a few weeks back and got really confused too! :) x
 
Having a bit of trouble getting back into the swing of things (such as defrosting meat when I need it etc) so am off plan again today, but still calorie counting if that makes sense? I think I'm going to stay in tomorrow and sunday and really focus on getting back into it because I only have 2 days to try and pull things together to stop a monumental gain, plus I want to work on the wedding invitations and change the cupboards around in the kitchen, so there'll be lots of things for me to do :D

Yep, definitely firmly back on plan, no more guests planned etc, so other than next sunday through to the tuesday when we go to cheshire it's going to be 100% all the way, though I might stick to green days as it'll be easier to stick to and get some meals made up to freeze for the next time that we're there (as long as Chris' mum doesn't mind me stealing her kitchen for a bit).

Green day today as once again I forgot to get the chicken out of the freezer last night yet again (but it's finally out now, defrosting for tomorrow)

Brekkie - toast (hexb) and nuttella (4 syns) with sliced banana
Snack - watermelon
Lunch - pasta with tomato and marscapone sauce (it's from the eat smart range at morrisons, think I'm looking at 1.5 syns for the packet)
Snack - blueberries, strawberries and grapes with muller light
Dinner - tomato, cucumber, lettuce, 3 babybel lights (hexa) and a dollop of cottage cheese
Snack - 2 ryvitas (hexb) with choc philadelphia (4.5 syns), slice of banana bread from my graze box (3.5 syns)
Syns - 13.5

Tomorrow

Brekkie - banana, strawberries
Snack - watermelon
Lunch - chicken breast, tomato, cucumber and lettuce sandwich (hexb) with a squirt of mayo (3 syns)
Snack - fruity ploughmans from graze box (5 syns), 3 babybel light (hexa)
Dinner - bacon, mushrooms and egg
Snack - grapes, blueberries and strawberries with muller light
