Had Charlotte s carol service yesterday afternoon which was really festive then my Christmas night out. It was great to be out with my team from work a good chin wag. We went to zizzi s, I had a pizza diavola and red wine. Bit of a poorly head this morning.
My eye was sore yesterday morning and had to take out my contact lenses and wear my glasses. By tea time I went to the chemist and have conjunctivitis, gutted never had it before. It didn't spoil my night out but I am glad I am not going anywhere this weekend!
 
Oh Geordie I cannot believe you've got poorly eyes before Christmas, bless you, here's hoping you recover quickly. When you do new mascara will be a nice treat for yourself. I've been good with wine as don't drink very much anyway largely due to my job but I'd quite like some at Christmas, I've got a miniature bottle in the fridge which is like two small glasses and that'll be lovely. I can't wait to have some Christmas pudding too mmmmm xxx
 
Thanks cookie feeling a bit sorry for myself! Got to go out in the morning for some last minute bits. Then I have to do some wrapping tomorrow afternoon. On Monday I am going food shopping early. Got an asda delivery today but need the fresh stuff on Monday.
I have xmas pudding in for me and my mam as we love it! Also after eight mints :):):)
 
Eyes are much better today but will have to wait a good few days before I can wear my contact s. Sitting in bed watching tv and gonna settle down Charlotte and her two pals who are having a sleep over.
Went to sainsbury this morning got some lovely bits of food and a nice gammon to cook on Christmas eve. More wrapping needed tomorrow. Panto o Monday afternoon then going to see frozen at the pics o Christmas eve. I can always remember the days before Christmas dragging when I was a kid so I always try to do nice stuff with Charlotte! :):):):):):):):):)

Sounds a lovely fun lead up to Xmas planned Geordie :) Enjoy - the years go way too quick. Glad eyes are improving, not nice for Xmas x We have a bit of wrapping to do today and then I pick my main anniversary pressie up from the airport later - Becky YAY

Yup it does - I'm done :). Pressies wrapped, last bits of food shop done. Will just get veg peeled today, ham cooked, hoover through, tie up some washing, no big deal :) Did early am veg shop yesterday and shops were mad then - 8 am like you Geordie for that. Yummy curry tonight and some red wine with a chilled evening curled up in the warm with the TV in our Xmasy lounge which my niece said looks amazing like a grotto - :) loads of decs. Merry Xmas xxx
 
Sounds like a great day Sharon. We are off to see frozen at the pics then a picnic tea tonight and champagne, it's our tradition. Just put a gammon in the slow cooker.
My eyes are a lot better but still not wearing contact lenses. Trying to work out how I am going to wear the 3D glasses at the pics lol!
Have had my hand in the hero's dish in the last couple and days and wine. Had chicken arrabiata for tea last night which was yum. Decided to WI next Tuesday morning and start there after.

Morning minis. Hope you all had a great Christmas day. We certainly did. Was really pleased my lunch came together just fine. There were 6 of us. We had prawn cocktail, turkey dinner and Christmas pud or apple pie. I had a cheese board and mints for afters. Got some nice presi s and chocolates (!) Will limit them. Hubby off to the Newcastle match so daughter and I are chilling, my sister in law is coming over later for a drink with her daughter.
We had lovely news last night my husbands cousins daughter who was my bridesmaid when we got married had a little boy just after 5 last night, calling him Oliver. We thought she might have the baby on Christmas day so a lovely thing!!! My mother in law was at ours whe she heard the news a great great nephew for her !! :):):):):):):):):):)
