ProPoints Diary of a WW virgin

I can echo that as of I have too much Chocolate now I feel like that. Gone are the days I could eat 2 family sized bars of galaxy's lol...yes I really was that bad!
 
Well today although I am pointing I thought I would make sf choices to see if I could do it and am on the right track - would be lovely if someone could tell me if I am understanding it right - I did make the decision after breakfast, which I had 30g multigrain hoops with skimmed milk (4pp) so not strictly sf but know for future. Will get some shredded wheat things for ongoing sf - can you have the fruit variety?

Lunch was the one pan breakfast, however I added a slice of wholemeal bread, beans, tomato. It was gorgeous and filling and if I am right this would all be free on sf? - was 8pp

Dinner tonight is pork, potatoes and veg - not sure yet if I will have roasted or new potatoes - pointed would be 10pp (11 with a splash of gravy)

22/23pp - thinking of a sundae again as it was lovely - so 8pp again will be 30/31pp or 10 weeklies if I was following sf (8 for sundae and 1 for butter and gravy - assuming I had had the right cereal lol)

I didn't even know you could get fruit variety lol.You could point it as free I don't know for sure on that one.But yes all other bits apart from the butter and gravy are free :0) oh and the yummy sundae of course ;0)
 
And thanks daisy. I'm pointing today as will have less effect on my weeklies plus fancy chocolate so will have that later too... but it's good to know I'm on the right track when I want to try sf. Am thinking of doing it Tuesday and already trying to plan my day :)
 
They look nice,thanks for the pic.Yea often the sf ladies pp to save weeklies but a lot of the food they have is still sf,I've done it myself a couple of times,it's handy to be flexible ;0)
 
I'm thinking shredded wheat for breakfast.

Chicken tikka salad sandwich/ww petit pain for lunch - need to find out if my hovis brown bread is free - its one of those small loafs so not sure as haven't found it yet.

Fruit and fat free yoghurt for afternoon snack.

Dinner - that's what I'm not sure on yet - I have some frozen bolognaise made with extra lean mince that I was going to have with a jacket Potato before I thought about sf but not sure mince is free....so I need to think dinner through yet - maybe jacket potato and tuna salad?
 
Most of us count mince as free ;0)(as you can see we tend to go by our own rules)lol plus my bread is brown so I count that as free aswell lol
 
Lol well I have nothing to lose by having a go at it. I just need to plan what food to have at work as I do like to pick.

When I know what damage Monday has done and if I have any weeklies left I will be able to make a decision on if I give it a go.

If I have no weeklies left I'm not going to attempt it as know that I will want things like crisps and chocolate even more if I know I haven't got points for them which may mean I have to hold off on sf until next week - I know I can budget for them in my daily points if I have no weeklies left!!
 
Yea I know what you mean about wanting the crisps etc more if you can't have them.Makes sense to do it when you are ready,I was the same,weighed in on the Friday then on the Sunday I started sf.
 
To be honest I'm scared of doing it too. It's a bit like slimming world was and I struggled to lose weight on slimming world. I'm just think that the whole time pp is working for me that I'm just better of sticking to it. I know snacks and things aren't the best way to lose weight but it's keeping me on track and I jut worry if I change what I do then it's not going to work again.

I think I'm going to "dual" point - so try to have sf food but point to allow my snacks for a while to see how I get on....
 
I think the freedom you get with SF can either e a good thing or a bad thig depending on how you take it.

For example when I first started SF I pp the foods I ate as I just wasn't eating enough. But in the same way some people could stuff themselves with potato and pasta.

You could do like 4 SF days and 3 PP days.

I live doing SF as I can have baked potato and baked beans without feelin guilty lol! On pp it used so many 5pp for beans as 7 for medium potato crazy!!
 
I'm the sort of person who is likely to stuff as that's what I used to do on SW. I mean I would think nothing of eating 4 pork loin steaks with a massive plate of veg , or 3 jacket potatoes with a whole tin of beans or a big casserole dish of pasta and I think that why I'm scared as I think if I tell myself that it's free I will eat to excess. I don't think I'm ready for it yet - I have learned a lot with WW I know but I think at the moment I could still slip back. That's what scares me about sf. Don't get me wrong I'm really keen to do it I'm just not sure mentally I'm ready xx
 
I know what you are saying as thats why I waited till my eating habits had changed,I try and look at it as being extra healthy more then free if you get me! I find I have less snacks aswell but I do think you should do it when you are ready or like Purp says,few days sf and some pp.
 
I think as long as I have some weeklies as a back up I will give Tuesday a go this week and see how I get on. Start slow. Expect a million questions lol. The only thing winning me over is free crumpets :)
 
Haha I think the free crumpets sways it for a lot of people ;0) ask away though I do whatever myself lol.Yea always good to have some weeklies for sf.
 
Thanks daisy. Once tomorrows unknown dinner is out of the way I will know more so will decide then about Tuesday...

Dinner - 10pp

I have succumbed this afternoon to a chocolate bar and bag of monster munch for 5pp -have been so bored!

Will still be having my sundae later - the same as yesterday - 8pp - so total for today will be 35pp with 33 weeklies remaining.

Are you looking forward to the meal? Your dinner looks delish,I'm having similar myself tonight,can't wait :0) haven't had monster munch in ages!! Yum :0)
