Friday 26th august

Official WI day, and it appears that I've lost 2lbs since yesterday (must've been the bloat from the flight!!) and I'm now 3lbs above target!

Breakfast: fruit salad with activia yog

Lunch: salad with quorn pieces cous cous and cheese (hea)

Dinner:

Snacks: alpen light (heb)

30 day shred/gym if I get time!!

That happened to me a couple of weeks ago, and hopefully its the same for me this week. 2 pound gain this morning, I'm sure its water! Xx
 
Dinner: Mexican rice with fajita style vegetables, pea guacamole (1syn) cheese (hea) dessert: activia yog with half bag milky way stars (7 syns)

Total syns: 9 syns (including 1 for el Mayo at lunch)
 
Saturday 27th

Breakfast: scrambled eggs x2 1/2 tin beans

Lunch: 1 slice hovis best of both (6syns) cheese hea and salad sandwich alpen light bar (1/2heb)

Dinner: quorn fillets with potato wedges and salad

I'm out drinking tonight .....eeeek!!! Husbands birthday I know im not going to be good

Cook up some peas, let them cool then blend, add chilli powder ( I use the colemans chilli con carne that's where syns are) garlic and chopped up tomato - not quite normal guacamole but does the trick for me!! :)
 
It was delicious and I will definitely be making it again! I merged your recipe with bits of another from google so it was peas, garlic, tomatoes, jalapenos, lemon juice, pinches of ground coriander and cumin. Oh my! Thanks again :D

Yay!! Glad you liked it! I love Mexican food so this really works for me because I like tons of it avocado is just too high in syns!!!
 
Tuesday 30th

Have had bit of bad BH wknd and also husbands b'day tomorrow and we've got lunch out and takeaway!! Feeling crappy and highly emotional as it's * week but trying to be good today at least ....

Breakfast: Peach

Lunch: salad, cous cous, potato salad, cheese (hea) branston pickle (1syn) antipasti veg (heb for oil)

Dinner: pasta with phil light (heb) and salad

Gym - 45 mins
 
Yesterday was a bit of right off - husbands birthday went to jamie olivers in Brighton for lunch thought planned great - pasta with veg and little bit of ricotta hea and heb but ended up having bread basket with oils and cocktails .... Then for dinner had family over and got take away - 1/2 portion of veg rogan Josh with boiled rice (6syns) but had half popadom bit naan bread and bottle wine!! Cannot believe this was my week getting back on it I've completely failed!!!!!! It's my mums 60th in 3 weeks and I want to get back to target (5lbs now :-( ) before then!

Oh it doesnt sound like you did too bad! It could have been a lot worse, you controlled yourself better than i would have around the indian food! I would have ordered a korma and consumed at least half a nan! Its to be expected when you have family get togethers and celebrations. You deserved to celebrate with your hubby and some cockails too!

Its annoying being away from target though isn't it? At least with SW you dont feel completely lost when you lose your way. Its an easy and fun to get back into! xxx

Just sat and read through your diary :) my OH is cabin crew for Virgin so got alot of respect for you to be dieting around such a hectic schedule! You've done so well!! Congrats for getting to target, and I hope it gives you the incentive to get there again now you know you can do it!!

I just got back from Vegas with my OH and ate, well not ALOT, but BADLY lol (naughty food pics are on my food diary haha makes me hungry lookin at em!) but you have alot of determination which is very refreshing :)

I know, it's just that this was my first week back being good and I've completely wrecked it!!! Anyway, over and done with! I'm focused now.... I think!!! I hope doesn't take too long to get back to target!!! Xx

Lunch: jacket potato with cheese (2xhea) and salad (heb olive oil dressing)

Dinner: on flight.... May have mugshot and salad

Snacks: fruit and alpen light bars (heb)

Going to start 30 day shred properly again either tomorrow or Saturday!!!

I think it's normal to fall back into bad habits though. I find if i've had an 'off day' i'll then continue to have off days. My OH doesn't really eat veg and is a picky eater so I find unless i've planned a meal for us both, i'll fall back into ''oh lets just have a pizza/mcdonalds/fish & chips" vicious cycle! I start my PGCE next week so im hoping that being super organised with that will keep me super organised with my food planning too lol i can only hope!!

Yeah I get the cushy part of the deal lol OH is on the flight back from NY as we speak, looking forward to having him back for the weekend. Vegas was brilliant, would highly recommend it. I really want to go to NY, but OH goes there at least twice a month with work I think he's prob sick of it now haha! Ah well, sure I can twist his arm :)

PS. Start 30 day shred tomorrow.. don't give yourself that extra day to put it off :) xx
