Ding Dong the Enemy's dead!

Mary has been my mentor and guide! It has been great chatting with her and Mark etc throughout maintenance! Well done for your lb off! Will be thinking of you in that pool in turkey :character00180:

:giggle:

No excuses....I'm a man (as you've reminded me once before! ;) ).

Besides, pool's a nice place to cool off! :p

Didn't want to say that, but, yes, you are! :D

Maybe I'll come and haunt you on your refeed thread while Mary's away and make up for it ....:character00148: :Na_Na_Na_Na: :massmoon:

Hahaha - I'll only be visiting it once a week now when I've weighed in.....decided to stop updating it daily, as i've been refeeding now for going on 9 weeks. :)

Anyway, I'm off now to grab what's left of the sun! ;)

PHUPH!!!!! I'll have to find someone else to annoy then .... :(

Don't forget the suncream, I'd hate you to burn your head ;)

Brilliant news Mary well done x

Have a great holiday, I am green with envy hehehe

Thanks Col, I promise to feed the ducks next week and I will be extra nice to the cats.

That is really good, dunno how you do it Mary :)

Good and bad days Yas, not always easy, even I get a bit of a brain frazzle some days and think I am doing something wrong, but just weigh up the good with the bad hun and it soon evens itself out.

wowser well done knowledge queen! :) you've proved that it can be done and that you dont even need to calorie count - just watch portion sizes and eat the right things .. right? lol well done mar :D xx

Right...........lol, and damage limitation after vodka is an excellent bring me down and back to earth with a bump :p

Oh and well done on your 1lb off ....... :9529:

:silly::silly: ;) :p :D:D

Thanks, but dont really want to lose any more, but its better than gaining.

Well done on the loss Mary - Hope you have a great holiday! :)

x

Thanks Mark, I will have a great time as I always do, I am not one to let a good time pass before me, if you cant beat em, join em is my motto :D

:giveup:

Seriously though - looks like you're really 'getting there' in terms of how to maintain. I know it's still relatively early days but you are doing sooooo well and it's inspirational for those of us about to embark on the 'eating again' part of this journey. You're showing us that it can be done and there's no need to dread it!

Thank you xx :happy096: xx

Cheers Jan, it is scary to start with but with common sense its really enjoyable and the taste of food in those first couple of days is amazing. I am not worried about you in the slightest, I know and YOU know you will be ace. If I can, I will log on to minimins as I stop off in the blazing sunshine for a cool refreshing lager and toastie just to see how you are getting on - besides, I will have my mobile with me anyway - you dont get rid of me that easily.

So will I, but that's another story! LMAO

Hmmm.......... :eek::D;):p:)

Welcome back Mary!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Thanks Tanya, its good to be back on healthy eating again (although I was pretty good while away) but not good to be back from jollies......loved every moment on it and the comments were amazing from all the people I know in Icmeler (I go there twice a year). Such a buzz when walking down the street and people calling at the difference in my shape.

I bet that felt great!!! :)

You don't eat that many carbs really do you? Is there a particular reason for that? Is that how you need to be to maintain do you think? Just curious. :) xx

Not really too fussy on carbs to be honest Jan, I always feel bloated after them. I do have an occassional potato, but I prefer rice and pasta, but I only have a small portion when I have them.

The main carbs I like is chips, but I tend to steer clear or I would eat the whole pan...hehe.
