Sat 23rd May

Breakfast, Porridge with raisins and syrup

Snack, apple

Lunch, Half a tin of tuna, salad, 1 small slice of wholemeal bread, 1 cheese triangle.

Snack, honeydew melon, grapes.

Dinner, Chicken breast, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, 2 spoons of gravy.
Yogurt.

2 litres of water up to now, but still drinking.
 
Mary your menu is very good today! Are you sure u've had enough calories?
I have been picking! :( But its Saurday and I'm @goal!

Brekkie:porride made with water and splash of milk

Treat: Ice cream cone from Thorntons and it was luscious!

Lunch: Wrap toasted with scraping of pesto, wafer thin turkey and tomatoes.Salad.
Dinner: Chicken steamed in slowcooker with Thai 7 spice, chilli flakes and a little yog
put in wok with juice from slowcooker and stirfry veg and udon noodles. Was absolutely gorg!!!

Snack: 4 Cherries, slice pineapple, 4 snackajack ricecakes, 3 minieggs! Few nuts and raisins

3 white teas
1 white coffee
Gallons of water x

I will have something else, already had 2 rice cakes and a toffeepop, will probably have some oatckes before bed, but wanted to get those the above down before I forgot them.....lol.

Oh thats okay then! Well it was rather nice...although I think I've realised that I've gone off sweet things actually..it wasnt as lush as I'd hoped! Thought I'd treat me and my daughter. Wont becoming addicted! As you can see I've become so carried away today I posted my diary on your thread!
Ahh my dh is cute - he went up to London last night to celebrate a friends bday. He went to Borough Market this morning and brought me back two big tubs of fresh olives, I like 'em he hates them...love him! x
 
Haha, its ok you can post your menu here anytime....aww thats sweet of OH to bring you the olives. I am not too fussy on olives, but I do prefer the black ones rather than the green, no doubt I will be having a few in Turkey. (oops holiday talk again - :)

Apart from the oldd chocolate bar, I am not too hooked on the sweet stuff either Rach, much prefer a nice salad.
 
Hi Mary,

So will you get another weigh-in before you shoot off? I'll be curious to see how you get on this week if you're giving the counting a miss.

It will be interesting to see if you end up sub-consciously limiting what you eat because you're not counting.

That will be a good help for you if you maintain (or lose a little), after all, I'm guessing you don't want to be counting the rest of your life.
 
Morning Mark, yes I will weigh again on Friday morning this week. I have got quite used to the sizes of chicken etc on my plate, so hopefully I can still maintain with the 'no calorie counting', will be interesting though - wish me luck lol.
 
You'll be fine, I'm sure....I was just curious about your portions etc., without the counting....as someone pointed out yesterday, your menu seemed to be lacking!

Oh I did snack more later on in the evening, I had a rough count up in my brain and actually had approx 1400 calories.
 
Sunday 24th May (Planned menu)
Breakfast, porridge made with half skimmed milk and half water.
1 tangerine

Snack
Handful of grapes

Lunch
Home made lentil soup with ham.
Yogurt.

Snack
Apple

Dinner
2 new potatoes, carrots, peas, chicken, gravy.
Natural yogurt sweetened with honey, pineapple chunks. (Changed the pineapple for 6 prunes - was delicious)

Snack
3 brazil nuts, few raisins and few unsalted cashew nuts. (Didnt have a snack, was full up from dinner)

Monday 25th May

Breakfast, porridge made with skimmed milk and water. 1 Tangerine.

Snack, apple.

Lunch, Wholemeal pitta bread, Mixed some chicken breast with fried onions, (used frylite spray) mushrooms and garlic, sprinkled with chinese 5 spice, tablespoon of 0% greek yogurt, lettuce leaves and cucumber. WW fruit yogurt. (last of my fruity yogurts, I wont buy no more now, the natural yogurt, sweetned with a little syrup or honey is so much nicer with fresh fruit)

Snack, 2 tangerines.

Dinner, Chicken broth, Low fat natural yogurt with prunes, sweetened with a little golden syrup (my fav desert at the moment, the greek 0% yogurt was delicious last night with a little honey)

Snack, piece of fruit if hungry.
 
Tuesday 26th May

Breakfast - porridge made with skimmed milk and water with a teaspoon of golden syrup. Few grapes.

Snack, 2 oatcakes with cheese triangle and a tomato. Yogurt (my last fruity ww one, found one more in the fridge)

Lunch (7pm in work) 2 slices of wholemeal bread from a Braces small loaf, spread was Greek yogurt, filled with chicken dipped in chilli sauce, side salad.

Dinner, (midnight, not had it yet - nightshift)
Chicken broth.
Greek yogurt with syrup and blueberries and 6 prunes.

Snack about 2am - 1 pear.
 
I didn't think you had any more nights before your hol .... must have dreamt it :( x

Wednesday 27th May

Breakfast, porridge with skimmed milk and water. Few grapes.
Snack, few grapes.
Lunch, 2 grilled tomatoes, 3 grilled sardines, 1 poached egg, 1 pear.
Snack, Honeydew melon
Dinner, PItta bread filled with chicken mixed with Greek yogurt and chinese 5 spice, salad. Prunes and blueberries with Greek yogurt.
Snack, fruit in work (nightshift)
