Now you know that's a big fib sis!

Your mansion is lovely and tidy!

Suppose the butler makes sure the cleaners do a good job...;)

Me neither... bum firmly set on the sofa with a cuppa and gorgeous hubbs, watching the rugby and fully expecting England to fight back in this second half and beat the Scots! :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

Wow well done Dawn, amazing loss! Have you posted the lentil dahl recipe before? If not, could I please have it.
Hope you have a lovely week off. Those cakes sound scrummy.
Just given bf cricket cake, and he loves it :)

Hi Penny,

sorry I forgot all about posting the recipe...here it is...

Easy Peasy Lentil Dahl
Just thought I'd share a quick and easy microwave lentil dahl which is lovely and excellent for weight loss...

2tbsp water
2 medium onions (finely sliced)
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground turmeric
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp chilli powder and 1 whole chilli (with seeds)
2 bay leaves
2 inch piece cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp salt
6 black peppercorns
frozen leaf spinach (optional)
8oz/225g red lentils
1 1/2pt boiling vegetable stock

Place first 8 ingredients in a large 1.5l microwavable dish, cook on full power stirring once for 4 mins.
Add remaining ingredients & stir well.
Cook on full power for 10 mins, stir and cook for a further 5-8 mins.
Season with salt, pepper or chilli to taste.

This is the one I make too and it is sooooo yummy - in fact, it's on my batch cook list for this weekend. I'm going to buy some chana dal from Tesco instead of lentils and see if there is any differene... I've a feeling they may be one and the same thing lol xxx

Dawn,

You inspire us all on our weight loss journey, maybe, in time, you will inspire us all to have clean and tidy homes!:8855::8855:

Pmsl!!! :8855::8855::8855:

Have you noticed I only put photos of tidy rooms on here???

That not cos all my rooms are tidy...

I'm just a bit selective about my photographic material...;)

Now Andrews room is a completely different matter...

I only go in there once a week to reclaim all the mouldy cups, dishes and plates he's got in there...

Well, I know the answer to that one!

Until 2006, the only computer in the house that had internet access was in Lloyds bedroom.

And as I was selling lots on eBay and a frequent poster on a Florida Forum, I used to spend hours during the day, while he was in school, in his bedroom, and whilst there, polished and tidied etc.

So, when we had a wireless network put in, to bannish me from his bedroom for his GCSE year, he obviously liked how organised and tidy it was, and has basically continued to keep it that way, with of course the usual washing pile etc;)

So the trick is for ME to tidy it all up and hope he keeps it like that...

Only trouble is I can barely get in there atm for stuff all over the floor...

And it smells...:faint2: :fear:

NO!

Not if it is that bad in there!

And in a stark contrast to Lloyds bedroom, there is Kates!:8855::8855:
