DOING SW FROM HOME???

Hello everyone! Can I come and join you in here? I have been doing calorie counting but I really can't be fuffed writing everything down so thought I'd give SW another go. I'm on maternity leave so can't afford the meetings and anyway I really don't like the format of them, so I'll be flying solo.

I'm on holiday for a few days from tomorrow, so I'll be starting aproper once I get home, so a week on Saturday, although I'm trying to be as SW friendly as I can in the meantime. My little boy turns 6 months tomorrow as well so it seems the perfect opportunity to start following a plan that means I can cook things that will suit my plan and he can eat too, as well as fitting in with the rest of the family :)
 
Morning all,

2lbs off for me this week. Can't help but be a little disappointed as I have worked so hard with my shredding and been very good food wise but I suppose at least it is a loss and I have finally made it into the 11's. Hope everyones weekends are going well x
 
2lbs is brilliant, ESP as many people STS or gain the first week after starting the shred.

Hope you all had a good weekend. I've been off plan since Thursday as had a friend staying, haven't done the shred since weds.

I'm just going to start fresh from tomorrow back at day 1 and do it everyday, and start back on plan tomorrow too as I had some leftover Chinese earlier when I got up, going to make a SW dinner though.

Drank absolutely Loads too. It was nice although really expensive and really nice to catch up with people. Going to start doing some yoga as well, as that should help tone, 5 weeks on tues until thailand! And no where near my 3st target. Time to knuckle down! Xx
 
Don't suppose anyone knows how many syns are in a packet of salt and vinegar snack a jacks are? Not that it really matters as I have almost finished them now anyway lol
 
Hi all,

We're Minimins newbies, and we're both doing Slimming World "from home". We started pretty well just after Christmas, but a holiday in March followed by birthdays and family gatherings has led to a bit of a plateau, so we're re-booting from this weekend! Our weigh in day is Fridays, so hope to be back on track soon!

Thanks Charl. I am not shredding tonight. Been feeling very icky last few days. It seems to be after I have done the dvd so am giving myself the night off. I am going to have a nice bath and an early night and continue with day 8 tomorrow. I am glad you have enjoyed your weekend and look forward to shredding with you next week.
 
I feel so crappy :( I have come on again, 3 times in 5 weeks now and i'm in loads of crampy pains and the bottom of my back hurts loads, I feel really awful and sick, I don't get it as i'm on the pill and dont even usually have them! I keep crying too and it's driving me mad :( boohoo

Get yourself along to your gp Charl. That's not right. Don't suffer it. Until then, take some pain relief and snuggle up with a nice hot water bottle. Hope you feel better soon x
 
Just got the hot water bottle, have no pain killers at the house though, but snuggled in bed already, wish bf was here but he works nights so no hugs for me as he just went to work :( thank you, I'm going to go tomorrow just to check everything is ok. X
 
Make sure you do and let me know how you get on. If it gets too bad take some calpol. It's better then nothing and I know us mums always have plenty of that in the house. Get some rest hun x
 
Yeah Charl go the docs to be safe as that doesn't sound too good!

I've not been good at all since Thurs WI! I ate out Thurs night, carvery fri & few glasses of wine, chippy meal sat with a few glasses of wine, and Pizza Hut yesterday!! Had a sneaky look this morning and it's only showing a 1/2lb gain but it may catch up on me by Thurs! Gunna try n be good between now n Thurs but I've got 2 slices of pizza that I couldnt see go in the bin that I'm gunna have for lunch! Silly me!

Morning girls. Sounds like we've all been a bit off plan for one reason or another, weekends are sooo tough! I was feeling rotten so had a bit of comfort food, ha! On the upside I've just bought 2 tops in a size 14 which I'm very excited about, not bought a 14 in about 7 years!! Maybe my aim of size 12 in 2012 isn't so silly :)

We've got some beef leftover from yesterday's roast, any inspiration what to do with it? Could marinade it in something and have a stir fry??

Charl, how you doing, managed to see your gp? Hope the pains have eased and you got some hugs!

Icurez, 2lbs is fantastic. Maybe all your work will pay off next week. Keep going!

That's sounds as bad as my weekend but I had Chinese instead of pizza hut. Aah I'm in loads of pain today, cramps hurting so much it keeps making me go dizzy and I threw up before :( this sucks. Can't bring myself to exercise either x
 
That's so crap that you're suffering. Is it a new pill? Sounds like you need to try a different one, or opt for coil or something. Dose up hun and lay off the shred for now. Take care hun x
 
Aw Charl! I know exactly how you feel - that is literally how all my periods were before! They are so painful and make you feel so crap :( That's why I'm on the pill now. Have you managed to get a doctors appt? Really think it would be worth going and getting checked out, as this pain sounds horrible :(

I don't feed so bad after my day off yest as everyone seems to have been a bit naughty - I'm not alone haha! Was convinced I would go off plan on Saturday as I went to London with my nannie, we ate out and then I bought sushi and bento home to eat whilst I was babysitting - but it all came to 14 syns! Then I had a depressed/disconnected day yesterday and ended up eating a slice of tarte au citron and then half a pizza... D: Feeling it today, all bloated and horrible, but it's my own fault. Determined to get back on plan properly until Friday, and then I can just relax and eat/drink whatever ;D

Hope everyone's sticking at getting back on plan, too :) x
 
Hi Laura, I was the same yesterday and just 'needed' that slice of apple pie and cream after our roast. Didn't even bother to add the syns up!

So far today had muller light and fruit for brekkie, 2 alpen light bars, now it's time for lunch. As it's extremely wet and miserable, omelette I think! More inclined to eat salad when it's sunny, no blimin chance of that these days!

Yeah ive been on my pill for a year now after having a coil in and removed last year as it was horrific. I won't be able to call until 12:30 to see if I can get one for today, fingers crossed! Xx
 
lost 2.3/4lbs this week!! really chuffed with myself, even if i feel fatter than before! :/ haha
