DOING SW FROM HOME???

Last post 7 hours ago, No way!!!! You girls talk far too much for that ;-)

Another 30mins on the treadmill tonight, beat my distance too.

Not sure where this sudden energy's come from but i'm hoping it will last as i'm desperate to be able to lose weight by myself and eventually just maintain a healthy weight.

I've told myself I shall be putting £5 per week in a jar for a treat every 6 weeks or so.

How are we all this evening anyway???

Yeah, we have been quite quiet today! :) Well done on the treadmill PB - wish I had your kind of energy, I'm just napping all the time - I'm probably a bit anaemic again though, that's always up and down!! I went for a walk today though, and had a picnic with my mum's goddaughter, her sister and mum and it was really lovely :) Sun slipped behind the clouds a few times but was shining bright for most of the day - I don't think we'd have managed out in the sun of the previous few days!! x

At least I know I'm doing it right! It's prob because I've cut alcohol out of my diet too!

Jen those Tuna steaks are gorgeous! I cooked 2 last week and added sweet chilli sauce then had it with roasted veg n jacket pot it was delish!

That's the first time I've seen the word alcohol mentioned I think, I was going to ask what you girls spend your syns on as I have to save mine for wine night! Xx
 
Evening girls

Phew busy day so I've eaten well ish but probs not how I intended gonna put in my food in MFP and see what it comes too, I'm usually only half my fats and carbs but over on my protein every day

Held out on the wine wasn't going to even though I wanted it as I said I wasn't drinking until girls pamper night next Fri, then hubs said he nearly bought some, then trip to lidl and was tempted but thought I'll leave it and go over the outdoor, then spent 40 mins outside talking to my friend so I'll have a cup of tea and not bother now yay...

Tilly, well done!! Happy for you - yeah, cutting out the alcohol is definitely good, wish I had that willpower!!

I usually spend my syns on small things like a bit of olive oil in a dish where I'm sweating onions or something cause sometimes I just can't bear to use frylight as the onions don't taste right :p Other things I syn on are tomato sauce, sweet chilli sauce, thornton's chocolates (3 syns each), vodka (4 syns for 35ml), rum (4 syns for 35ml) sometimes some sunbites which are 6 syns for a bag from the multipack... Sometimes some low fat spread on toast which is 1 syn per tsp.

Just put some cakes in the oven, they smell lovely! Needed to do some real baking, so I adapted a lemon cake recipe on here... I used juice and rind of two lemons, 6 eggs, 1.5 ounces sugar and 0.5 ounce sweetener (only had a tiny bit of sweetener left D: )and 3 ounces self raising flour... The mix came to 24.5 syns, if my calculations are right, and I made 12, so 2 syns per cake :) Will let you know how they turn out! Fingers crossed they're nice :p x
 
Evening girls. Well it sounds like you all have been having a good day. I've had a weird one today. I had an interview for a new job this afternoon and am now in terrible limbo land until tomorrow waiting to hear if I got it. Food hasn't been a problem at least, felt mildly nauseous all day! Hope I'll be handing my notice in soon.

What do I spend my syns on? Alcohol definitely. I'm a real ale fan (8 syns a pint if it's under 4%) and I also love wine - but it's soooo bad on syns, I save it for a flexi night when it doesn't matter if i drink the bottle. I find it impossible just to have one glass. I try not to have any alcohol at all in the week, then I use my syns on cheddars, options hot choc, mayo/olive oil/salad cream to pep up the salads.
 
Well I went for a walk at lunchtime yesterday (and it thankfully stayed dry) which lifted my mood and I'm feeling much better today. Thanks for the pick me up suggestions though.

Still sticking 100% to sw this week even trying to just eat out of thr freezer and I'm able to cover everything with HEX or syns withiny allowance. Hoping I get another loss on Monday.
Hubby is working all weekend so have the kids all to myself woohoo. It doesn't happen very often as I work full time and hubby is a stay at home dad, but with our finances the way they are he's decided to find a bit of work.

Well done Tilly on your loss, going brilliantly now! How's your friend doing?

Just 1/2lb loss for me today, but considering my pants weekend of pizza, nuts, pretzels, alcohol and loads of blimin stress it isn't too bad! Going for 100% week now, working all weekend so no bank hols fun for me which is probably a good thing.

Met up with a good friend last night who made me realise I just need to keep going one step at a time. All emotions are ok and only time will tell if me and hubby can make it, gonna try tho.

Laura, how did the baking go?

Gonna do another 5 miles tonight. Am entering a 10k run (in December on the beach) should be fun!!

i am sooo happy, off to look at wedding dresses soon but i have begged my mum for us not to order it until after christmas so really gotta keep this up!

Off shopping today with a friends and the kids so that'll get us out of the house for a while even if the weather is horrible!
