Thanks you - gonna squirt a bit more of the cherry antiseptic spray down my throat - taste lovely, I am supposed to be looking after my foster nephew tomorrow, Sunday who knows, Monday is my quiet day as DS is at nursery 9:15-2:45 although husband is on late shift next week so I won't be alone until 12:30

what about you Berry Berry?
 
Hi Donna sorry ur not feeling well can sympathise have had it for 2 weeks my ears started playing up Monday I blew my nose & ears made a noise then I went deaf & nearly fell over cause balance went lol ears are aching today got awful cold sore on end of nose & bloody cough, keep getting the phlegm up makes u wonder where all the muck comes from, I can't taste any food but it hasn't stopped me eating it ;-) have decided to try & get back to sw today cause if I have much more of a break will put another stone on so onwards & upwards I go :) xxx

Thanks Val - I was much the same this morning, got out of bed and went crashing into the wall, my head feels like it is shivering inside! trying to muster the energy to do lunch or i will end up pick pick picking

this is an amazing recipe by Minimin's MadameLaMinx's (Slimming World)
3x Chicken breasts chopped into strips.
2 onions, sliced so they made nice circles
4-5 cloves of finely chopped/minced garlic
a bunch of spring onions topped, tails, and chopped into small bits.
2-3 green or red chillis
a green pepper (I didnt have a green one so I used a yellow one instead) chopped into small chunks.
sea salt
black pepper

Liberally frylight a wok or large frying pan and heat up.
Add onions and green pepper to pan, and fry over a medium heat so they soften up nicely.
Add garlic, spring onions, chillis to pan and fry for a further minute or so.
Add chicken strips.
Throw several large pinches of sea salt and pepper over the chicken.
Fry the whole bally lot together, stirring repeatedly until the chicken is cooked through.

Serves 3 large portions at 238 cals per portion

It is REALLY REALLY tasty. I promise!​

Val in all honesty I would never normally have slimfast - I just don't believe meal replacements are healthy but...they taste really nice and yes they do fill me up til lunch, I do struggle with breakfast I jsut can't eat first thing so the milkshake is ideal, I have been awake for two hours now and only just starting to feel ready for breakfast

what a contradictory reply lol! I bet you are non the wiser
 
tbh i'm the same. i don't usually *do* breakfast. tried, oh i did try... but i'd always feel hungrier and eat more in the rest of the day. so now, i only eat when i am hungry, and if that means i don't eat breakfast and get brunch or lunch instead, then hey, that's ok.
 
the only breakfast that fills me is
10g milled flax seeds
35g oats
milk (I use kara coconut milk substitute)
and plenty of cinnamon

any other breakfast just leaves me hungry

I am going to take the dogs out shortly with DH - he just has to pop into work for half an hour (after he makes me a cup of tea) then when I get back I am going to prepare all the veggies for dinner then relax - yesterday was fairly eventful for me :):)
