Don't you just hate it when....

DYJHIW 3 days to your 30th, 3 friends cancel on the meal (you've already confirmed numbers with the restaurant) and another is still unsure if she'll come so is dicking you about because she can't pick food in advance (!?!) I'm never organising anything again, I wish I hadn't bothered tbh. I just wanted something nice :(
 
That's rubbish bubbs, did they have to pay a deposit? Hope so, then it can go towards paying for your meal!

Djyhiw its only wednesday! Hurry up weekend!

No deposit because it's a small local place, but they're making me look foolish I've emailed the guy so many times to change the number and should've had food orders with him at the weekend. I just wanted it to be about me for a change, everything is always about everyone else and usually I don't mind - but to feel happy loved and important on that particular occasion would be lovely. Sigh!
 
DYJHIW loads of stuff is kicking off at work whilst you're away doing jury service and the thought of dealing with it when you get home this evening after a long day in court is making you feel physically sick :(

DYJHIW you lose 4lbs (second most i've ever lost in one go!) and one of your best friends (?) says "yeah well its cos you were ill and werent eating alot", making it sound like i did it on purpose!...little does she know i was eating, still forcing fruit and veg down my throat when all i wanted was pizza and custard and chocolate...i wasn't even expecting a weight loss this week after needing to eat ice cream to take swelling off my tonsils...(doctors orders ;) )

It was a 4lb weight loss i fully felt like i deserved, a "well done" wouldn't have gone amiss.
 
Well done you and yes it was deserved - I have a friend just like that lol (she goes to WW) - well when she feels like it she does.

I text her tonight to say id lost and all I got was oh so how much is that now and what do you weigh grrrrrrrrrr

I always say well done to my friend, even when she stays the same. It hard work this weight loss thing!!

Well done you, looking at your stats we are pretty much at the same weight currently - and we started at roughly the same weight too!x
 
Aghhh - DJHIW you get an email from royal mail saying they're going to deliver your parcel today and your out.... also since when did royal mail email people to say they had their parcels..... creepy

Well done, a fantastic loss which deserves a well done even if you had been ill and stuffing your face, every loss should be congratulated and a bigger well done for not giving in to the naughty things while you were ill, we all know how hard that it. Jealousy is an ugly thing

My husband works for Royal Mail & he said he'd never heard of em emailing about parcels... Although he's not the most observant of men lol x

He's just dropped it off now, was a different postman to usual and a lot earlier then usual. The parcel has a tracked sticker on it so maybe its something to do with that?
I would have worried about it if they were asking me to ring up about it or whatever but I had ordered something from the company it said it was from in the email and all it said was that they'd try and deliver it today and didn't ask me to do anything, also had a link to their website on it.
Still very weird though, I assume its a new thing they do and I'm guessing it is because the seller paid for the tracked service (as isn't that where you can go online and check where it is anyway...so its only one step further for them to email you)

I'm happy anyway as it means I got my parcel as I was worrying I would be out :)

I didn't have to sign for it. But I suppose with it being tracked the postman would have a thing to just send a signal that it had been delivered.
