Don't you just hate it when....

14 Emsie. I really can't believe the school think that 2 days is a reasonable punishment. They've sent her Facebook messages saying 'why don't you cut your wrists & die' I think my sisters going to take those to the police to see if anything can be done.
I'm surprised at the 2 days punishment. My friend had no luck when she went to the police about Facebook issues with her daughter but hopefully your sister will have more luck x

Just caught up kingleds & I can't believe the 'punishment' school have given that's. to punishment at all disgraceful.

I'd much rather the school or police sorted it. It's either that or tell my niece to fight back next time.

I remember been bullied and hit at school and I'm afraid the only thing that stopped them were my older and bigger friends from the 'hard' school down the road giving them a taste of their own medicine. I know two wrongs don't make a right but I remember seeing my bully quivering as she was "told" to leave me alone and I'm ashamed to admit it felt good  (in my defense I was only 14 or so).

Re the police, my mate's a copper and has nothing good to say about Facebook, the bane of their lives. However, as long as your neice hasn't entered into any kind of retaliation then they have to take a threat like that very seriously. The biggest problem for the police is when it gets into a 'he said, she said' situation.

I hope your neice is ok and that you get a solution soon x

DYJHIW.....you've just spent ages baking and decorating your daughter's birthday cake and know you'll only be able to have a smidgen of it! Chocolate chip Madeira too - one of my favourites!! Oh yes, and I had some hand-made chocolate brownies delivered for her today from this tiny bakery in the Cotswolds and they look amazing! Why did I do it?!!!! :O Oh well, just hope she's had a lovely day - not set eyes on her yet.

Kathy
