Don't you just love it when...

Daughter came home with her new reading books from school & it has a little note saying the books had to be collected from year 5 coz shes such a clever girl - not bad when she just started in year 2 on Wednesday :D super proud mummy!
 
When you work out your budget (hopefully correctly!) and realise that we can actually afford a new puppy :) so we've been and put a deposit down on one :) picking him up after next weekend :)

I had a bit of a rant on here a couple of weeks ago about OH wanting a dog we'd seen at a rescue place. He wanted him but I thought he was to bouncy for me to walk with our little dog. I do 95% of the dog walking, if not more lol, so I wanted a nice easy dog, if you know what I mean. Plus I thought money was a problem but turns out it won't be. So we're picking up little puppy after next weekend :) he's ready to leave now but we're away next weekend so couldn't take him away with us today. Can't wait to see him again :) he's gorgeous!!!

Yeah I saw but didn't know what to say :-( but yay to new puppy! Defo need a pic, I love doggies!
 
dyjliw... you get a 8am lying instead 3;30am - 6;30am since little one been poorly!
 
... When your new neighbours turn out to be annoying idiots who wake you up at 4:30 screaming their lungs out at each other, slamming doors & running up & down the street shouting. Idiots!
 
Quite similar....DYJLIW you have got most of what you wanted to do this weekend done, cleaned bathroom, tidied round,tidied garden and mowed lawns,lots of washing done,took son to library and after a protest from son in car park about libraries being crap places that only have crap books managed to get him into the library and to choose 2 books that he was willing to try reading without even raising my voice! Just need to cook dinner and eat it now before relaxing in front of trashy tv this evening!
 
When you wake up without a hangover when you were expecting one, the kids have gone to nannas for the day so it's lovely & quiet & you can sit in the garden n relax coz its a gorgeous day :D x
