I havent had anywhere near the amount i said i was going to, i had a small bottle this morning when i woke up but thats about it really other than that is has been coffee or diet coke
2 litres a day is plenty to keep your kidney functioning efficiently (and your liver) both are working hard to flush all the fat and other rubbish out of your system. Only the LighterLifers and other VLCD kids should be drinking up to 5-6 litres as we don't get any water content from eating meals so we need the extra fluids.
Try working up to 3 pints a day (I bet if you went out you could get 6 halves of lager or 6 G&Ts down you in 3-4 hours!) - once you get there and manage that for a couple of weeks you may find that you are thirsty for the 4th pint. Very often the feeling we mistake for hunger is actually thirst - I know that the WW literature does mention this and I did do WW for about 8 weeks 2 years ago so I'm not just talking from a VLCD point of view.
My 2 litres works out at 5 pints by the time Ive added in squash, Im surprised how easy its been to drink it, I actually didnt realise til recently the real benefits to drinking so much... or the real reasons behind it
Lol, I did pull a few choice faces yesterday Sandy :giggle: I think I was a bit of a drama queen .
Anyway I'm going to take up the challenge today, will try and have most of the water in the afternoon evening as I'm taking the kids to a soft play area today and don't fancy scrabbling round in the ball pit desperately trying to get out for a wee :giggle:
