Dukan diet day one!

Hi all! I started the Dukan diet today. Hoping to do the attack day for the maximum number of days. Any hints and tips??

Hi :)

Have you completed the free thing on the website first? It tells you how long to complete each phase for? I over did it on the attack phase and then plateaued for two weeks. X
 
My tips would be never let yourself get hungry, always have eggs, tuna, chicken or whatever on hand!
Total 0% yogurt for breakfast, add in sweetner and the oatbran allowance is yummy!
I felt **** for a week but it does get better :)

LW- thanks for that! Just did the test thing and it said i should do the attack phase for 6 days :eek:)

How long did you do it for?
 
It told me 7 (I think) and I did ten, apparently is only water loss and you lose your real weight in cruise, I was told by someone on here that if you don't adhere to the number of days given it interfers with your loss (which it has in my case) maybe aim for 6 and if you really want to extend it do xx
 
Just to add I'm a newbie myself, I'm sure the pro's will along soon, they know alot more than me :) x

It really isnt recommended to do the Attack stage any longer than advised, you may stop losing after the first half and be disheartened and waste valuable cruise days and you will really be missing your veg by then!

Stick to the Attack stage 100% for the advised 6 days and u will see a good loss!

:welcome:Raj. Like what everyone advises, do the recommended 6 days and weigh everyday. If you get to day 6 and you are still losing and you want to carry on then do but as soon as you dont lose any overnight (after the 6 days!) then move to cruise pronto!!

Welcome Raj, for lunches in attack I used to have chicken and cottage cheese, orrrrr make the quiche using eggs, cottage cheese, s and p a little onion and meat of your choice. I'm not very inventive the real cooks will be along shortly, but check out the recipe thread excellent idea on there. good luck x
 
Welcome! :)

Boiled eggs are always handy for lunch (they really fill you up), also you can make meatballs and eat them cold,. Good luck with attack.

As long as you have not got cholesterol you can have more x there's more variety once your in cruise, persevere x

Me??? 1egg in my daily muffins, 2 boiled for breakfast, 2 in omlette at lunch, 1 in my meatza base. 1/2 a dozen today! :eek:
 
I normally have around 2 eggs a day. If you are worried about cholesterol then you can just eat the egg white, but the egg yolk is definitely the tastiest bit!
