Dukan Do It....

What Trudy said xxx

Thanks trudy, I know you are right, and I will keep at it, no intention of losing the way LOL, :D Sid xx

Have had 8½ drinks today, so just above my 2 litres, and have reduced on dairy and had 6 eggs all told. Don't feel quite as bloated at the moment, but I do feel crampy. Lets hope once my body settles down I will miraculously lose loads LOL...

another pesky quarter on this morning, blooming hormones.

Actually felt really fed up this morning, hormones and stuff.....had some friends over for a card making class so that helped cheer me up a bit.

Just had an annoying message from an ebayer. Complained about the postage cost when i had combined two items, and then complained it took three days to post....hmmm she obv didn't look at the calendar seeing as the item finished on a friday and was posted on the Monday. Impossible to post on a saturday morning with dance class and of course the post office doesn't send on a Sunday....I always say on my ebay listings that I will attempt to post within three days of payment. What was she expecting, a blooming miracle. Maybe I was supposed to drive up to her and deliver it. Grrrr.

Rant over, sorry, but I never try to con people. Some of the postage costs on there are astronomical but no one complains, cos lets face it if you know how much it costs in advance, you make the decision to buy or not, why then complain about it. I always charge post office costs plus cost of packaging and handling. I don't think thats unreasonable.

Dukan food today

BF Usual Porridge
LN Quorn Sausage in Dukan bread. Yogurt and Dukan Custard...forgot I'd taken it out of freezer so couldn't leave it.
TE Tuna Steak and Chicken cakes with spinach and mushrooms Muffins with yog
Sp Jelly and Yogurt.

Dairy today was about 900ml, but I've decided for the moment not to worry abotu how much I am having, less yesterday made no difference today anyway. Plus there still seems to be some confusion about how much we can have, and my book says unlimited so I'll stick to what I've been doing.

Drinks 2¼ ltrs. I've been drinking hot water, actually helps me, not missing the coffees too much.

In school all day tomorrow, we have to dress up for comic relief so i am going 'half' dressed. Wearing black jeans with red pyjama top. One slipper one trainer. Odd socks, and one pigtail and other side of hair still down.

Woohoo lost 1lb this morning.

I'll be back later to catch up, just popped in via phone to put this lol. :)

Pics please Karin, I remember the first red nose day lol great fun xxx

Just catching up Hun, I agree eBay can be great but also a right pain sometimes x

I didn't get any pics of me but imagine if you will....

size 16 black skinny jeans with red long sleeve pyjama top that has a picture of a bear holding heart.
One blue mule slipper and one black trainer.
One black sock and one white one.
One pigtail on the right side of my head with a red bow and the left side left down but with a clip with another bow on it.
and.....A RED NOSE (T Spex)

Its the first time ever I have dressed up for school stuff and felt confident doing it,

I've cheated a wee bit today, we had a bun sale at school today and in our foundation we have a lady that does cupcakes for a business and she brought in some that had bits of toffee and choc on top.............wellll I bought three buns to bring home and we all had one each.....all for charity you understand. LOL. That was the only cheat though.

Did a fish korma for my tea, very yum. I like fish but struggle for ideas on cooking it, but Mum reminded me of when we were kids we had fish curry, so I used the korma recipe and YUM!!!

Karin I have the picture in my head and you look great lol, Fantastic you felt confident enough to dress up and a cake for comic relief................because its a good cause all calories are donated to cyberspace xxx

LOL siddy sue, donated to cyberspace, love it.

definately feeling less bloated tonight, hoping its all melting away now LOL

Stayed the Same this morning, phew my little comic relief treat didn't cause me any problems then. LOL. Extra good today, I even picked up and put down a single M&M peanut of my daughter's. I'm a good girl I am........:D

Dukan Food Today

BF Porridge and Yogurt
LN 2 Quorn Burgers / Veg & Ham Omlette / Tiny salad and Half my dukan cake today with yogurt to dip it in. (I was hungry today)
TE Chicken (new recipe) with Salad and remaining Cake
SP Jelly and Yogurt.

Possibly Veggie sticks and a jar of Mussells. These are to pick at as we are watching Men in Black 3 tonight courtesy of Lovefilm.

Just relisting on ebay again, nearly reached this month quota of free listings. Its raised a bit of money thou and will all go towards things that we need and don't have to use the money in the bank for. Plus got daughters School trip and birthday party to pay bits off.

Watched some of Comic Relief last night, some funny bits, we'd done out bit at school and bought noses this year so didn't have to sit and feel guilty for not donating. It does seem thats there take on it these days to try and make you feel guilty for not donating on the night, yet most of us will have put something in a pot somewhere.

Agree about that and honestly feel better donating through events I attend or am involved in!! Heartbreaking films though that they showed throughout the night - so sad...... Well done on only having one cake and food looks great for today - I am off to get in the bath and get ready to go to this party - tbh it is pouring down outside so could almost just curl up in front of the telly with a good book!!! LOL! x

I agree very sad stories, it always gets to me as well when the male celebrities end up emotional, us women are emotional at most things but not the men, so its almost sadder.

Don't blame you wanting to curl up in front of telly with a good book, sounds heaven. DD and I sat watching Summer Holiday. I've always been a Cliff fan, and although DD knows some of the songs cos of me, she's never seen any of the films.....she's decided he is quite yummy and sat avidly watching him LOL. There's my girl. Already a big Elvis fan, again cos of me, but she has this 'pretend' competition with a teacher at school about who likes him the most.

Sounds like you had a hoot ! Well done on just having one cupcake & getting back on track. You sound like you are defro in the zone x

Thanks Jo,

First day of the Formula 1 season, which means Hubby goes to a friends to watch the GP when its on BBC, when its likely to be the highlights and its on Sky Sports then friend comes to us to watch. So it meant DD and I had the afternoon to ourselves. Mainly spent watching films and spending some time together.

I used Tofu for the first time today, I had bought the silken one from Asda, so added some hot choc powder to it and sweetner. Used my blender to smooth it together and split it into two tubs. Had it for pudding earlier, it was quite nice, bit of an after taste, but for half a tolerated and 125ml dairy it was worth it.

Had loads to eat today,

BF: Hearty Breakfast with yogurt
LN: Omlette Rolls with turkey slices and muffin cake with Dukan Custard
Mid snack: Prawns and Crabsticks (ate whilst watching dvd)
TE: Sticky Chicken with tofu pudding.
SP: Jelly and Vanilla yogurt

This morning I had lost half a pound. Hoping it stays off so thats a loss tomorrow morning LOL, otherwise it will be another week of STS. Blooming hormones. :D

Daughter and I spent first half of this morning making an Egg decoration for the competition at school. She goes up to High School this year so we have made two eggs, put one in current school colours and other in new school colours with little signs sayign Hi and Bye. Then a title that says Growing Up. Wording saying about Spring is about growing and a Year 6s purpose is to learn and grow for High School LOL. It looks fab. i'll take a pic and post it when I get chance.

No it blooming wasn't. 3/4lb on which means a ¼lb gain in the week.

Flipping hormones, thats the only thing it can be. Gonna take time for it all to settle down. Have started the water tablets again to see if that helps with any retention.

Have planned the next four weeks menu's right down to suppers and all puddings. No deviance and no extras. Hardly any tolerateds in there and hopefully it will be easier to keep an eye on dairy, although I'm not convinced dairy and eggs are a problem, they are not over the top at all.

I half expected a gain and it to be a weird week what with last week being such a fab loss. That train is still on my tracks though LOL. toot toot!!!
